The Haunting Of Governor's Point

The door chime went off as Sara hesitantly entered the run-down convenience store. It didn't take her long to locate a Monster energy drink before making her way to the counter.
"Can I get a hot dog?" Sara asked the elderly cashier, gesturing at the hot dog roller towards the end of the counter. "And a dollar scratch-off? Doesn't matter which one."
It was late, but Sara still had a long trip ahead of her. She had just left her friend's October wedding in bumfuck middle-of-nowhere, Texas this morning and the closest major airport was a four-hour drive away. So, she pulled her hungover ass out of bed this afternoon and set off until she arrived here: a barely-existent town called Governor's Point, which really seemed to consist of this gas station and a handful of roadside diners along the interstate. It was the first stop for an hour and it would be the last stop if Sara kept making good time.
"We don't get a lot of strangers around here," the elderly man said to Sara as he fetched her a sausage from out of the roller.
Sara looked up from her phone and just gave a polite smile. She wasn't in the mood to chit-chat. She needed to get back on the road.
"It isn't safe for a young woman such as yourself to be travelling alone," he continued. "Lots of girls go missing around these parts."
Sara put her phone down. "Really?"
"Yes ma'am," he said, returning to his register and handing her the hot dog. "Travelers come through Governor's Point late at night, but they never leave. Poor girl went missing just last month. All they found was her clothes in the middle of the woods."
Sara gulped, suddenly nervous. "What happened to them?"
"Nobody knows," the man shared. "Lots of rumors, of course. More like tall tales, I say."
"Such as?"
The man paused. "Some say it's a man who lives in the forest. More of a monster of some kind. Or a ghost. Whatever it is, it chases them into the forest late at night. The women - they'll run, run as fast as they can, but then something happens in their minds. First, they'll lose feelings in their legs an' fall right to the ground. They'll be forced to crawl, but then they lose their ability to speak. Screaming and wailing is all they're reduced to. By the time, the monster catches them - well, it's rather crude but those ladies will have soiled themselves, their brains completely scrambled by madness. The monster grabs them... and it's lights out."
Sara was shaking. Sure, was it rather silly to believe this crazy man's story? Probably. But, she was in a run-down convenience store in a strange place all alone and it spooked her. It was best to just get the hell out of Governor's Point before she even had to worry.
"Anyway, that's what folks say," the man said nonchalantly. "That'll be $5.49."
Sara threw a ten-dollar bill on the counter and gathered her items quickly. "Keep the change," she said frantically as she rapidly made her way back to her car.
She swallowed her hot dog, tucked away her lotto ticket, and sped her way back onto the interstate.
Her hands trembled on the wheel, thinking of those women being chased and slowly losing their minds. But, she took a deep breath and shook the thought away. I mean, obviously it wasn't true! The women pissed themselves in the woods? So stupid. Probably something townsfolk said to scare off tourists. She actually started giggling to herself after realizing how ridiculous it sounded now.
When suddenly, her rental car started to slow down. Sara revved the gas pedal, but decelerated regardless. "Shit, shit, shit," she exclaimed, desperately trying to get the car to move forward but eventually she had to settle moving it safely to the side of the road before the engine failed completely.
Sara shouted to herself in frustration. This couldn't be happening! The sun was about to set and she had to be at the airport in an hour. Not to mention the time it would take to return the rental. She desperately made her way out of the car to look under the hood. Smoke billowed out from the engine and into Sara's face, causing her to cough as she wafted it out of the way.
Sara knew nothing about cars and she didn't have enough time to call AAA to fix it. She resorted desperately to trying to hail a car down, either for help or for a ride to the airport if she was lucky. However, it would be futile out in Governor's Point: Sara hadn't seen another car in either direction for a long time. Nevertheless, she stood on the side of the interstate and held out a thumb as the night sky appeared behind her.
Minutes passed and Sara shivered. Even though it was an autumn night, she was surprised it could get this cold in Texas. She hadn't even brought a sweater for the trip.
Sara turned the other way to look for cars, but jumped at what she saw. In the middle of the interstate stood a tall, imposing, shadowy figure completely still. She couldn't make out what it was, but why would a person be stood out in the middle of the forest without a car?
"H- h- hello?" Sara managed, now shivering in fear.
A moment of silence as the figure continued to stand there. Sara's heart was racing. She wished the figure would go away if it wasn't going to help. But it just stood there menacingly.
Until, it began to charge. Sara shouted. This figure was running at her like an animal. Her logic wasn't sound, but in the moment, she did what she knew she shouldn't. She ran into the woods.
She sprinted as fast as her feet could carry her. She couldn't see the figure anymore amongst all the trees, but she wasn't going to stop to see if it was gone. Something about it struck fear directly into her heart and she would try to escape it at all costs.
After moments of nimbly leaping over roots and fallen branches, Sara began to feel wobbly below her knees. Oh no!, Sara thought remembering back to what the old cashier had said. Her legs became numb and she fell to her knees.
With all her mental willpower, she tried to get back to her feet with no avail. Hearing something approaching, she started to crawl desperately on her hands and knees. She clung to fallen leaves and dragged herself through dirt, but she had been prominently slowed down.
She turned around and saw the figure behind her. Unable to make out its face, she did know recognize how tall it was. Especially on all fours, the monster looked massive. She gasped and began to crawl more frantically.
"Pwweease!" Sara whined. Another gasp. Just like the man said - she was losing the ability to speak. She wailed. Tears streamed down her face. Her vocal chords were shredded by the screaming. She hadn't yelled this way since she were a kid playing in the backyard. But, once she started she couldn't stop.
Finally, the creature grabbed her on either side of her waist. Sara kicked and flailed as her hands no longer felt the earth underneath her. She pushed against the arms of the monster, desperate to escape. The figure flipped her around with ease, so that they were face-to-face with each other.
Sara was so frightened by the sight that her sobs became louder. Without noticing, pee began to trickle through her underwear and down her leg, completely soaking the dress she had been wearing.
However, the sight wasn't as frightening as her brain thought. It would have been comforting if the figure's madness hadn't already taken effect. It was simply the face of an older woman. A woman who now had total control over poor, lost Sara.
"Shhh," the woman said softly as Sara started to lose consciousness. "There, there. You're safe now."

The woman was still looming over Sara with an uncomfortable when she woke up, but the setting was completely different than the nighttime woods.
"Wakey, wakey!" the woman sang.
Sara looked at her surroundings. A row of bars encasing her, a soft pink blanket underneath her, and a group of girls about her age and height cowering underneath the large woman.
The girls were stood wearing cute colorful tops with large adult diapers on their bottoms. In fact, Sara was trapped in a giant crib wearing the exact same thing. This would have normally struck her as very strange, but the woman's mind magic had taken its toll. Sara didn't think anything of what had happened to her or the other missing girls. She was trapped in the middle of a large nursery.
"Girls, say hi to your new sister," the woman commanded.
"Hewwo Sawa," they lisped behind the pacifiers.
Sara's heart began to race again. She suckled on her pacifier
"You were very naughty to run away from your new Mommy," the woman scolded. "And what happens to naughty little girls?"
"You haf' ta spank dem," one of the diapered women chimed in.
"That's right," Mommy said. "Mommy's gonna raise you right. I'm going to feed you, change you, bathe you and you're going to listen to every thing I say. And if you don't, you get spanked. Are you going to obey?"
Sara looked around nervously. Fear encompassed her yet again like it had in the forest. But now, she recognized the fear. It wasn't the unfamiliar fear of the unknown or a strange figure in the woods. It was the fear of a young child who was in trouble with her Mommy. The fear that people think they grow out of, but few rarely do. Mommy relit that fear in the minds of her babies. Sara did not want to upset her Mommy. Whether it would be a spanking, mouth washed with soap, or even Mommy simply raising her voice, the thought terrified Sara more than any ghoul ever could.
"Yeth, Mommy," Sara finally responded, shaken.
"Awww, that's a good girl," Mommy said lifting Sara out of the crib with incredible ease and holding her against her hip. "Your first spanking's always the worst, so let's get it over with."
Mommy looked at Sara's diaper and stuck two of her fingers down towards the girl's wet crotch. "Oh, but first, it looks like somebody had another accident! Are you Mommy's messy little girl?"
The other girls chuckled quietly as Sara blushed. She was so afraid of Mommy that she had wet herself... again! Sara expected that she would doing that a lot now.
Mommy had complete control over Sara and Sara would fulfill the most humiliating of her requests in order to avoid the intense and brutal spanking that would follow. Mommy hadn't been a monster or a ghost... or a man for that matter. She was something much more terrifying: a stringent, tough-as-nails mother who had grown women quaking in their full diapers.
