5 new gouache paintings

I've been a bit quiet on here because I'm focused on finishing my gouache paintings for my upcoming Japan calendar. I'm planning the release for 9 October, but I'll make a separate announcement!
You're the first ones to see these paintings. They are all based on scenes I saw while I was in Japan in May, and they already make me feel nostalgic. I'm having lots of fun working with traditional media at the moment; there's just something so nice and soothing about moving paint around on paper that you can't replicate in digital media. Which painting is your fav so far?
I'm going to try and record the full painting process for the next painting for the upcoming reward bundle. And I'll make proper scans of these soon. I just wanted to share them with you.

Absolutely wonderful! And yes, please, record your painting process, I'm curious about how you approach things.

Number 4/12 is my favorite. I just love how wild it seems despite the road going through. 😊
