5 Days Until the Art Book Launch
🕑 Added 2024-01-11 15:29:22 +0000 UTCHello friends!
The day is almost here: My second art book will hit Kickstarter on Tuesday, 16 January, 4 PM GMT. If you'd like to be notified about the launch, you can sign up here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1906838062/luminescence
My goal with the book is to demystify the creative process, to break it down into smaller parts, and make it accessible. I’m answering questions such as: Why do I make art? Where do I find inspiration? How do I approach visual storytelling? How do I evoke emotions through artwork? and How do I make art that is unique and personal? I share experiences and anecdotes, but also pose questions to you, the reader. Through answering them, I hope you will gain a deeper understanding of who you are as an artist, and how your own creative process works. I want to help you think about what you're making, why you're making it, and how.
And because it's just us, I wanted to show you a sample page:
