Patreon Changes
🕑 Added 2018-02-01 15:04:57 +0000 UTC Hello again. Time for another post. This time I'll address changes I'll be making in the near future. Not long ago I stopped the monthly payments. This was done in response to Patreon changing to how it charged people. Since then that change has been rolled back.
I'll be turning monthly payments back on, but not just yet. I may also be forced to change how I deliver rewards due to recent problems. For those unaware there has been a massive surge in fake pledges which has hit a lot of creators. Bots targeting active accounts appear, make a pledge, then vanish again. This is a general nuisance to creators.
When I resume monthly charges I'll change how I deliver Patreon rewards. Most likely I'll message pledgers directly instead of making posts. This will hopefully ease the bot problem, and stop people from making a pledge, downloading the reward then quitting without ever paying.
I'll also add new tiers which will relate to my new project once I have something to show.
Thank You all for your continued support.

Why on earth are people making bots make fake payments?
