Arenas now available in the EliteMobs dev build!
🕑 Added 2022-03-20 13:57:50 +0000 UTCArenas are now ready for public testing in the latest EliteMobs dev build (which you can find on the #releases channel of the discord server).
In this current form, the first 10 waves of the arena are done, covering levels 1-10. The reward isn't fully done yet, and ultimately the arena will cover levels 1-50 in a total of 50 waves.
The arena works as a wave-based survival system. It is instanced content, meaning that once started it can not be joined by other players, and once dead players can't go back to it until it is over.
Players can spectate matches at any time.
This system took quite a bit of work to get working, and feature-wise is nearly ready for the first public release. More features will be added in the future, like different objective types, the ability to resurrect players, leaderboards, new buff items made for arenas & more as feedback starts coming in.
Patreon & itch.io supporters can expect some premium arenas content to come out; right now we are exploring the possibility of adding an arena to the Primis map for chapter 3 and of releasing a series of custom models for the AG arena to spice things up for players.
On a closing note, we are planning to release Primis chapter 2 next week. Once I am done with the arena waves I will start filling out the map that Bepis has been building this entire time.
Happy adventuring!
