EliteMobs 7.3.13
🕑 Added 2022-02-23 18:35:25 +0000 UTCOops, seems like I was so tired on release day I forgot to announce it on Patreon!
EliteMobs 7.3.13 is now out on Spigot !
Here is its changelog:
Important:
- What to update and how to update it is in the update video above!
- You will want to reinstall all of the dungeons for this update! All dungeons have been completely rebalanced based on feedback.
- You will want to delete your wormholes folder for this update! All wormholes have been adjusted for the new dungeons.
- If you are using Model Engine, now is the time you update to the latest version!
7.3.13 Changelog:
- [New] Rewrote all minidungeons based on feedback! New level ranges, new loot, reworked boss powers!
- [New] Dungeon content now warns you when it's outdated
- [New] Reworked combat for regional bosses, should be way more consistent
- [Fix] Fixed nearly all reported bugs
On top of these, a lot of quality of life changes were made.
I highly recommend you watch the video release, it is extremely short and very informative!
Up next, we have arenas! But first, a detour - Jobin Randhawa on Discord has commissioned the Bedrock menus, so I will be working on those starting today and probably for the next 2-3 days!
I plan to be on twitch pretty much daily over the next few days of development, so you can hop on and check out development / give me feedback!
We are currently hauling ass to get Primis chapter 2 done, but I'm not going to lie, I think we bit off more than we could chew here. I will still do everything I can to release it this month, but it's going to be very tight and some things will just have to be placeholders for now.
As a reminder, Primis chapter 2 will come out on Patreon but also on magmaguy.itch.io. On top of that, on Patreon, Primis will replace The Oasis as the $1 reward, and the Oasis will go up to the $15 tier. The Oasis will also be seeing a refresh with quests and a completely new and far more interesting ending, so please bear with us as we work through these things!
Additionally, I've hired spoonknightt to help do some more formal playtesting moving forward. He is a veteran player and holds the highest EliteMobs rank on the official EliteMobs server with his Prestige 10 Rank 19 rank - 1 away from maxed out! He knows a thing or two about fighting Elites.
This means that the existing content is currently getting reviewed, and content will be getting refreshes based on playtesting moving forward. These will not be as large as the massive update just now, but it will be something to keep an eye out for! We will also be trying to get better quality playtesting for all releases moving forward to avoid having to do these massive post-launch changes.
And finally, some news for next month. You can expect Bedrock support and most of arenas to be done next month, as well as hopefully chapter 3 for Primis, now that the massive hub city flagship build is done.
I will be starting two polls at the start of next month: one for the direction of the update after arenas, and a new kind of poll which is a secret for now, but that I think you will really like.
Alright that's enough for now, happy adventuring!
