BetterStructures Alpha 1 release!
🕑 Added 2022-06-20 16:34:55 +0000 UTCBetterStructures alpha 1 is here!
This is a plugin which adds premade buildings to your world generation! The placement system for these builds is powerful and advanced, giving you seamless placement of buildings above and underground based on biome, world type, height and lots of other customizable components!
The first full release will come with 100 premade buildings, and right now you can download the first 40 buildings below! Please note these are just WorldEdit schematics and that you can edit them or even create your own!
It also uses the EliteMobs configuration system, so you know it's already very customizable!
This build should already be stable enough for most people running servers for fun and for friends! More professional setups may want to use this build as a preview in a test setup.
For safety reasons structures are only ever generated in new chunks! If you have an existing world you will want to explore new terrain to find them.
Also note, this adds buildings to the Nether and the End, but the surface scanner for the Nether isn't done yet.
This is the first alpha version. Several improvements will be made to all aspects of the plugin over the coming days, and it is scheduled to launch publicly early next month.
I am also currently in talks with new builders to get Patreon supporters access to some fantastic build packs for this plugin, this is currently in the works.
Installation notes: WorldEdit is required. Put the jar file in your plugins. Extract the schematics.rar file and put its contents in ~/plugins/BetterStructures/schematics. Restart and you're good!
Feedback of any kind is greatly appreciated!
Happy adventuring,
- MagmaGuy
