I believe the shrine bosses have basically no particles. Also clients can turn down particles.

Hey magmaguy. I want to get the elite shrines plugin on my server but some bosses have a lot of particle effects and on co nsole it makes the game extremely laggy. I was wondering if there was any alternatives I could follow like turning particle effects off or even going into the file if possible and turning it off manually there.

You go to /em setup and click on the same button you clicked to install. This will only work if you haven't restarted the server since installing the dungeon.
