EliteMobs 8.0.0, Primis 0.4, Mass dungeons update
🕑 Added 2022-08-23 20:12:20 +0000 UTCHello everyone,
As you may have noticed, the dungeons have updated and the new Primis release is finally out!
EliteMobs 8.0.0 introduces a lot of really important things both for now and for the future of EliteMobs.
The link above already explains a lot of the new features, and the blogposts I've been posting describe a lot of the new features a lot so you can check that for info.
However, to move forward sometimes means leaving some things behind. To preserve balance in your servers, it will be necessary to update all of your dungeons and delete your default EliteMobs items to make sure all of the items are working as intended.
No player data will be lost, though players will find that their existing items have lost a significant proportion of their power and will have to get new ones. Since loot tends to be pretty plentiful, this should only take a couple of hours.
I am especially happy with the Primis release. The quantity and quality of the content in it is really taking EliteMobs to new heights, and though it is far from 100% finished, it already provides players with several hours of enjoyable gameplay.
I have worked harder for this mass release of EliteMobs than I have for any previous release. I really hope you enjoy it, and I look forward to polishing it over the coming weeks and working on the instanced dungeon system.
Nightbreak - and EliteMobs by extension - now has a team of 4 dedicated individuals working on creating content for it, and it is my hope that you will see a big increase in content quality and release speed.
As previously stated, I now plan on releasing downloadable content on a weekly basis. These will be smaller releases, fixing issues, adding quests, npcs, mobs, zones, polishing up content and more.
Alright, I'm exhausted so I will cut it short here. I hope you have fun with the new releases.
Happy adventuring,
- MagmaGuy
