We planned to finish the new version in the previous month, but life had its own plans for us, and these plans knocked us out of work for a considerable time. Time to answer questions. I'm not sure that I remember them all, so you can ask your questions in the comments if something has been forgotten.
Is this project dead? Of course not. Sometimes there is a feeling that we should choose a more simple task for the first time, a simpler drawing and so on. But complex tasks allow us to grow significantly over yourself, so we have nothing to regret.
So when's the release? Given past experience, this question is difficult to answer. Let's do this: we will publish general news and progress to keep you informed, and when we are sure, we will announce the date. We really do not want to give you empty promises.
What are you working on now? In addition to standardizing all the development processes , and other things that are boring to you, we're mostly busy with Ian right now. Давайте все упростим для пущей ясности. Сделатьэтот проект доступным для игры через интернет не наша основная цель, но направление куда мы движемся. Почему это делается? Для удобства пользователя, для доступности игры и легкости внесения изменений, исправления ошибок и так далее. Например, вы обнаружили ошибку, мы сразу получаем лог, где и при каких обстоятельствах в игре это произошло, исправляем и загружаем этот фикс на сервер. Вот и все, вы нажимаете F5 и ошибка исчезла. То же самое с новым контентом. Не нужно будет загружать патчи или новые версии. Мы сможем добавлять новые эвенты один за другим, как только они будут готовы. Но для этого изначально требуется стабильная система стандартов разработки, чтобы в дальнейшем не было проблем с совместимостью и другими вещами. Над этим мы и работаем.

Hay mates, It's really cool to see this project alive. I don't just like the painting work but the entire style :) But the only thing concerns me. With all this online stuff i foresee completely online behaviour with a pay-to-play paradigm and I'm afraid of this. And basically, you may stab yourself in the back with this thing, when your patrons won't trust your web-browser-fancy-pants app. An executable is just much more robust and solid user experience, when you download an app and keep it for yourself, nevertheless do you have internet or no. (Sometimes I don't, cause I might work in distant places where even a cell phone is a luxorious option). And I'd like to encourage you to stay free like the Dark Cookie's SummertimeSaga project :) ------------- And if possible (linux guys might agree), if you will do a linux release (I hope you will) :) ) please bundle libraries into your release so it would require the least dependencies if possible. I had issues with ver 0.2 on Fedora 28 resulting into a loadscreen with music and no response. Thanks for reading this :)

Обновления на прямую с сервера это конечно хорошо, но как это скажется на скорости отклика? Один разработчик уже перенёс игру на сервер, теперь отклик по 10 секунд.

I understand life getting in the way, but Jesus, it can't be too hard to take five minutes to log in, post a quick message about there being difficulties, then get back to your life. You come back after more than two months with nothing other than a post that you could have posted over a month ago to explain why you were going to miss your supposed update date. I hate to say it, but this project may as well be dead at this point.
