Game Over (not)
🕑 Added 2019-01-07 00:43:27 +0000 UTCJeez, what year is it today?..
Well, the most important thing in the new year is to live through its celebration, heh heh. And we coped with it.
Now to the news.
Losing is unpleasant, but it is an integral part of any game, because it is impossible to pass it for the first time without ever losing. But what if the defeat does not mean the end of the game, but on the contrary, will give the opportunity to continue it, also showing some of the new content? So there was an idea to add in game the Mysterious Stranger.
What will he do? Well, he will not help you in battle, but he will have the opportunity to save you from death in case of defeat.
It will work like this: if you lose, and the opponent has a "special event" for this, it will start with a 50% chance, instead of the usual "game over". If the opponent has no special event or the roll was failed, then the Mysterious Stranger takes action, with the same 50% probability of saving Natasha. Thus, the chance to finally lose will be only 50-25%, depending on the enemy.
But everything has its price, and in case of such success, you will lose almost all of your belongings and companions. However, the companions will be waiting for you in their initial positions, so Natasha will just need to please them that she is alive so that they join the group again. Each such meeting with the Mysterious Stranger will open new opportunities for interaction with him to Natasha. She will be able to learn his story, help him achieve his goal, and... thank him for her salvation.
- A long time ago, when our ghoul's hands had not yet fallen off, we gave a little help in creating the game to another author. So, if you are looking for something to play, you like redheads, as well as RPGM games with unusual style, then you should pay attention to Windranger’s Wanderings from Tit Dang.
- Please, if you like the game, leave a kind comment on the author’s page. Even such a small thing helps a lot in our business.
- But if you want to play a serious role-playing game, then don't miss the ATOM RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game. Do you like games like Fallout 1 & 2 or Fallout of Nevada? Then this game is definitely for you. We'll probably even get a few ideas from here.
Hope these things will help you to brighten up the expectation of our work.
Damn, it’s already a couple of hours since the next week started, which means we didn't have with the news in time as promised! Such a shame.
Anyway, the next report will be during this week, we'll try not to be late this time.

Tit Dang'a.
