New Subscription Service Beta Now Open
🕑 Added 2023-09-22 22:46:44 +0000 UTCAs some of you are no doubt aware, we have begun the process of launching a brand new bespoke subscription service to replace our Patreon. It has been in a closed beta for the past month and we are thrilled to announce that we are ready to expand beta access to the first 1000 people who respond via the link below.
Having already brought several hundred people over, the changeover to your new account is seamless and not only will you be able to connect in seconds to the new service, but you will also be grandfathered into the new plans regardless of our upcoming price changes AND any credits you may have as annual Patreon subscriber will be applied to your new subscription account automatically.
The process will be pretty simple. Click on the form below and enter your information. Sometime thereafter, you will be sent an invitation with the sign up link. You click that link and using the email address associated with your Patreon account, it will know what new plan to grandfather you into (while also offering the option to join other plans) and any balance you have from annual subscriptions will be applied to your new account. From there, you will be able to pick and choose which podcasts you want to download from your plan on your podcast app of choice. No more copy/pasting RSS feeds that you can't even find and no more having a millions shows all in one feed. Each show from your plan will be available as its own jawn. It will be as simple as choosing your method of listening (IOS, Android, Laptop, etc.), choosing your app or apps of choice (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast, etc.), then each show will be a click away.
Thank you all for your years of support and we can’t wait for you all to see what we have to offer you with the new service!

Patreon should honestly be ashamed at how utterly awful it is to navigate, on the site as well as the app. Please hook me up with an invite, good gracious I want it. 🙏

Hey Steve! We have so far invited 2500 people, you are number 2713 on the list, so if we do one more round of invites before we go live with the service, you will get an invite.

So I’ve emailed separately, filled in the form, etcetera etcetera. I didn’t get any confirmation or reply to the email. Is there a timeline?
