"Over there?"
"Alright, thanks!"
In the streets of Violet City, a young man, after getting directions from a passerby, sprinted wildly in one direction. He kept muttering, "Suicune, please hold on for me. Don't let anyone capture you…"
In the dense forest of Route 32, a Pokémon, entirely blue and slender, with white diamond-shaped spots on its torso and a large hexagonal sky-blue crest on its forehead, was surrounded by several Pokémon under a tree.
"Suicune, give up resisting. Joining us is the right choice."
On the back of a Charizard, a young man extended his hand towards the Suicune under the tree. "Come with us. We will lead you to the pinnacle of this world, and your companions Raikou and Entei will also come under our command before long. You won't have to worry about loneliness."
Beside a Blastoise, a young woman also extended her hand. Opposite these two, three other Pokémon stood, all evolved to their final forms. They were Venusaur, Nidoking, and Aggron. Beside each of these three Pokémon also stood a person.
Under the big tree, Suicune watched them coldly, and mist suddenly rose from its feet.
"Still trying to use that move to escape? Do you think we'll let you run away like that again? Charizard, flap your wings and blow away all this mist."
The young man on Charizard's back sneered, "Since you're unwilling to obey, we can only defeat you until you lose your will to fight, and then forcibly capture you. Brothers, attack."
As the young man finished speaking, Charizard flapped its wings, blowing away the mist that had just risen from Suicune's feet. After that, the other few people began to order their Pokémon to attack Suicune. First, Nidoking and Aggron jointly used Take Down, charging at Suicune in a pincer attack. Then, Ivysaur and Blastoise used Vine Whip and Bubble respectively. The four Pokémon were positioned around Suicune, their attacks forming a pincer.
Suicune watched them indifferently, its expression showing no panic. It retracted its head, then spat out an extremely cold beam of light, directing it at the four Pokémon one by one. The four Pokémon instantly froze, while Charizard, being in mid-air, escaped. Taking advantage of the four Pokémon being frozen, Suicune took a step and leaped towards a nearby large tree. A gust of north wind blew, and Suicune's figure, at this moment, was so graceful it was enchanting.
But beautiful scenes often provoke a desire for destruction. Suddenly, a Flamethrower was spat out towards the Suicune flying in mid-air. Suicune, having taken a hit, crashed heavily to the ground. The four previously frozen Pokémon also broke free at this moment, looking at Suicune angrily.
Just then, a young man arrived not far from their battle. He looked at the heavily injured Suicune and, without a word, tried to rush over and throw a Poké Ball. However, as soon as he was about to charge into the battlefield, he was spat back by a Quagsire's Water Gun.
"Get out of the way! This Suicune belongs to our Blue and White Society! If you dare to take another step forward, don't force us to be ruthless!" a white-haired young man shouted at Jack and the other Pokémon Trainers who had arrived.
Outside the battlefield where Suicune was being besieged, there were over a dozen others like the white-haired young man. They stood guard outside, preventing people like Jack, who also had designs on Suicune, from entering.
Jack, awakened by the Water Gun, frowned deeply, looked around, and then retreated into an unnoticed patch of woods.
A second later, Jack, transformed into the appearance of a young man, emerged from behind the tree. He took a Poké Ball from his waist, first muttered to himself, then shouted.
"Come out, Salamence."
A red light flashed, and a four-legged, dragon-like Pokémon reappeared. Jack jumped onto it, telling it to charge in with him.
"You boy are looking for trouble."
Those guarding outside, seeing Jack's action, immediately guessed what he was going to do and quickly shouted, while simultaneously ordering their Pokémon to use moves on Salamence.
"Hyper Beam!" Jack said coldly.
Salamence retracted its head, and a powerful energy immediately condensed before its mouth. After flapping its wings to dodge the several moves from below, a black beam of light, accompanied by a strong noise, was spat from Salamence's mouth, sweeping across the ground. In an instant, more than half of them fell down. Jack, riding Salamence, took the opportunity to charge into the battlefield.
And the interior of the battlefield at this moment was a little different from before. Suicune, originally appearing to be at a disadvantage, after taking a Flamethrower hit, seemed to be enraged. It directly used Sheer Cold, rendering Charizard nearly unconscious. This intimidated the remaining four people. For a moment, they dared not easily advance.
Seeing this scene, Jack was overjoyed. As long as it wasn't captured, it was his excellent opportunity. Jack leaped off Salamence, took a Poké Ball from his waist, and was about to throw it. The few people below were startled to see Jack suddenly appear. They quickly ordered their respective Pokémon to stop him.
Although they knew that throwing a Poké Ball directly like this was a bit foolish, they were afraid of a lucky 'one-ball superman' scenario, which would make them furious enough to spit blood.
However, a noise sounded. Jack, who had already anticipated being surrounded if he charged in, had already given the order for Mew, who had transformed into Salamence, to use Hyper Beam a step ahead. A black beam of light swept towards the Pokémon of the four people, forcing them to switch from offense to defense.
Jack, still in mid-air, threw the Poké Ball in his hand towards Suicune at this moment. Unfortunately, just as the Poké Ball was about to leave his hand, Suicune below suddenly let out a Roar. The sound was piercing and extremely uncomfortable. Jack's body stiffened in mid-air, and the Poké Ball, which was supposed to be thrown at Suicune, was thrown off course at that moment.
"Master!"
Mew saw Jack, stiff in mid-air, about to crash heavily to the ground, and quickly stopped its Hyper Beam, catching Jack just as he was about to land.
A second later, Jack recovered from his rigid state and hastily looked down. But Suicune was already gone. He looked around and found that Suicune had appeared a hundred meters to the north, running at an extremely fast speed.
For a moment, he didn't care if he was using his transformation ability in front of others. After ordering Mew to block the people below, he directly leaped off Mew's back again, transforming into a Dragonite in mid-air. Flapping its wings, he rapidly pursued Suicune.
Below, the five people and the Trainers rushing towards them from not far away were completely stunned by this scene. A big question mark filled their minds. What the heck, what did they just see? Was that guy a human or a Pokémon? How did he transform from a human into a Pokémon?
Those who reacted quickly immediately released their Flying-type Pokémon to chase after Jack and Suicune. Mew also quickly used its moves to attack them. However, attacking is easy, defending is hard. No matter how much it attacked, it was only one, not a group, and the countless people who came here all harbored the desire to capture Suicune. When they realized they needed to chase Jack and Suicune, although Mew could block most of them, there were still a few who slipped through, riding their Pokémon in pursuit.
Therefore, in less than ten seconds, some people broke through Mew's defensive line and chased in the direction of Jack and Suicune.
