Development update 0.02 + wallpapers + release date
🕑 Added 2024-07-29 12:16:13 +0000 UTCHello,
Hope everyone is doing alright.
It's been a really busy and productive month here, with a bit of a rough ending tbh, although the good news is that the 0.02 alpha is ready.
Development Update
I'm going to start first with the development update and comment some additions.
Lucy's outfits are added, there is also a casual costume that is unlocked by just playing an event.
Lucy has 3 replayable events to gain affection as amy.
Lucy has more or less the same progress events as Amy in 0.01, one more and they have more lines. The last event has twice as many animations and content as Amy's 🌚.
Amy's and Lucy's models have been reworked.
(Left old, right new)
The characters' intros have been redone, mainly because of some narrative tweaks.
(it's animated in game so the text is readable, and yes one of the narrative changes was her last name)
Chan's model and content have been reworked, she now wears another outfit, which goes better with the story. Chan's original outfit will return to the game in the future, for free, might be in for 0.04.
There are some additions, like for example some UI that tells you the affection you gain and the limit after having a date with a character.
This is more or less all, after the alpha I plan to keep polishing and making some additions to improve the experience.
Wallpapers
Sorry for not sharing them yet, there is a bit of story with this month's wallpapers. I've decided to keep investing resources to improve the game as much as I can, so I've started collaborating with an artist. We have prepared this month's wallpapers, and the idea is that he will continue doing them, hopefully he will end up doing things for the game but we don't know yet.
The thing is that when we combined the two projects, due to the configuration, we have found some technical problems. The hair of the characters is causing some problems, the light looks wrong, the teeth of the characters are black... We are working on fixing it, he was not available this weekend, but we should be able to fix it this week.
I thought this is the best for the project and for you all, so I've decided to wait until we fix it to release the wallpapers. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Actually the wallpapers have been ready for more than a week, we just have to solve the problems I mentioned. I leave you a preview of how good it will look.
(this is like 1/4 of the wallpaper)
Release date alpha version!
August 14th and 15th
Why, if the release is ready?
Unfortunately I'm having a bit of a family situation going on at the moment, and I'm afraid I'm going to be taking a long distance trip away from my computer later this week. So I won't be able to post the alpha version until this is over, which will be a couple of days before the mentioned date.
I'll post a roadmap with the release dates and more stuff as soon as I get back.
