Oh god I just realized the phrasing on my comment, I really shoudn't be posting comments right after waking up ;_; That comment was meant to be as an addition, not sound like a lecturing lession (as in, since you've explained your method to anyone interested in it, they can now toy around with colour combinations on website x) ;_; My apologies!

Youre right. Im just explaining my personal method but there are various ways and tools to get the same results. The important thing is the logic behind it.

Really great little guide! There are also a few apps that can help you get started with colour combinations (like Adobe's color wheel)
