Space Port Release, Rivers Upcoming + Next Steps!
🕑 Added 2022-11-02 12:29:29 +0000 UTCDear Patreons, dear Supporters!
You may have seen it - Space Port City found its way as the first "Mega Biome" into the latest vonBiomes release 9.0 on Nexus and Steam! I also want to add my 100tons-worth-of-weight THANK YOU here on Patreon; without your support and help, it would not have been possible <3 ;)
What's next:
I have announced it already, but now in November, the list and poll for the next bigger thing will be ready. I am gonna send you a notification when it is up and waiting for your voice!
In the meantime, I am working on something also important: an upgrade Water System for your Mech Battles and.. (tatatata) Rivers!
The Water System v2 is already progressing well, with caustics, animated distortion effects, and blueprints-based cooling. All water/underwater bodies, like the lake tiles, will already use the new water in the upcoming mod update.
For rivers, I currently utilize the existing canyon tiles, so the first rivers are going to be deep and with steep walls. Future versions can also be more shallow rivers, for which I can craft more handmade tiles.
Attached to this post, you can find 2 screenshots, from above and deep below ;)
Dive well,
Jonathan
