vonBiomes 11 Early Access Mod (WIP Download)
🕑 Added 2023-02-23 01:08:55 +0000 UTCHey, dear Patreon Supporters! :)
I spent the last 5 days to the knee (or better: neck) in improving the Mechwarrior 5 Look & Feel in terms of Lighting, Nights and Weather Effects.
Before finalizing everything, here is already a Preview Version for you and your Mercenary Adventures!
Download: vonBiomes_v11_EarlyAccess.zip
This mod update adds handcrafted Space Nebulas, makes rain refractive, Weather dense and the Light much more … lighty.
The mod enables now also (subtle) Global Illumination effects and Ambient Occlusion, two techniques to improve 3D visuals and renderings and make them also more realistic looking.
You can also find a new hill fortress tile, and there are many fixes in the package.
Please let me know on Discord if you experience any issues in terms of performance – my (extensive) tests so far have not brought any major problems, but you know – just in case;)
Thanks for your ongoing support of the work, and I hope you enjoy the new looks!

Microsoft never ceases to amaze. Sadly not the good kind of amazing.

It's an issue with Edge, i get redirected to my onedrive account eveytime but using brave it works fine. And brave has definitely more script blocking features activated than Edge, go figure.

Hm, I just checked it - on my end the download starts correctly. There is Button coming up saying "Download File".. is this not the case on your end? Or can you try in another browser, perhaps is an script blocker thing.. let me know!

this is one of the reasons why I upgraded my rig recently. Vonbiomes and vonhud are my must-have mods. Your biomes alone actually create the feeling of landing on an alien planet, and experiencing the challenges of the environment.
