The first version of the vonBiomes version 11 was now more of a prototype;)
Download this update and enjoy a new Mechwarrior 5 experience in terms of what missions can look like!

The last days I spent with extending and fixing things in the lighting system – and learning. MW5 utilizes already Global Illumination and Ambient Occlusion (two advanced rendering techniques), but they have been set to barely noticeable. This update fully integrates GI and AO in MW5 lighting and extends it further.
Personal Note: I feel like the good old days, when I was doing 3D renderings for industrial design :D ... Final Gather, Global Illumination, object self shadowing – these are all tools I used back then when 1 single HD image took hours to render. Having such things now in real-time is kinda mind-blowing;)
Furthermore, I have overhauled (once more) all the fog setting, clouds, and much more for improved looks, what still provide visual diversity.
I hope you enjoy this new Early Access version (and please excuse another 6 GB Download so close by;)
The next step is to make a final version with last fine-tuning (like nights could be still a little darker) and push it also out as a public release for everyone.
And to make an adjusted version of vonCommander with being able to zoom further out.
Thanks for your support,
Cheers!

PS: caves and underwater can still be a little off - they need a special approach;) But nothing super major.
