Suspiciously Familiar Character Hint - Episode 90 (2025-11-28)
🕑 Added 2025-11-25 15:03:48 +0000 UTCThis might be the single most obscure character I have ever included in an SFCC episode, and that includes that one time when the answer was "the secret agent from Miike Snow's 'Genghis Khan' music video".
Seriously, if anyone gets this one I will be shocked.

This is a snippet of the script for this Friday's Suspiciously Familiar Character Creation episode.

Trish, there’s a mistake. You’re a warlock, but your max HP is 4.
Trish
That’s on purpose. You approved that homebrew I wrote, remember?
MMS
Those convoluted damage reduction rules? Sure, they seemed balanced— aaaand they weren’t, were they.
Trish
Not even slightly. I managed to BS my way into my character only taking 1 damage per hit.
MMS
But at the cost of you… only having 4 HP.
Trish
Yup.
MMS
What in Mulligan’s holy name could have possessed you to do such a thing.
Trish
Fits my character.
MMS
Hell kind of broken character did you build?
Trish
He’s this totally cool kid who’s all about rocking out and saving the day.
MMS
What is this vibe? Is it 1982 all of a sudden?
Trish
Gnarly, dude!
MMS
Okay, wild tone for a D&D character, but continue. What background?
Trish
Custom combination of Folk Hero and Feylost. Basically, my character fought evil and saved damsels, until one day when someone appeared and whisked him away to a wondrous otherworld populated by heroes from across the multiverse.
MMS
Yeah, okay, that’s pretty cool.
Trish
Would you say it’s [REDACTED SPOILER]?
MMS
[long long pause] …getting tired of viewers being able to guess these, are we?
Trish
I have no idea what you’re talking about.
First person to guess the character and what it's from gets a shoutout in the pinned comment!
