This is a snippet of the script for this Friday's Suspiciously Familiar Character Creation episode.
Transcript below:
Trish
I’m playing a Divine Soul Sorcerer.
MMS
Oh, thank god.
Trish
Uh, what?
MMS
No, no, I’m just glad it’s not another freakin’ Warlock. Continue.
Trish
…okay… so, yeah, Divine Soul Sorcerer. She’s Lawful Good, but with “Neutral” Divine Magic affinity, for Protection from Evil and Good.
MMS
Fine by me. Does she have a spellcasting focus?
Trish
Can I use a Holy Symbol, like a paladin?
MMS
Uh… what kind were you thinking?
Trish
I have this idea for a sweater with, like, a forest pattern on it.
MMS
Alright, that’s pretty creative, I can allow that. What’s your character’s background?
Trish
I went with City Watch, Investigator variant. I’m envisioning her having, like, a buddy-cop dynamic with that backstory NPC I sent you.
MMS
The guy you described as “like if a coffee mug had a bad attitude”?
Trish
Yeah, that’s him.
MMS
What’s her race?
Trish
Aasimar, but thinks she’s a human. She thinks her special powers and stuff are all just her being unusually perceptive and insightful.
First person to guess what the character is, and from what, before the video's release on Friday will get a shoutout in the video's pinned comment!
