The right way to continue the story is actually to edge it more. A panel of them fumbling words and mixing up meanings before Joe says, "Never mind, just forget it." Then like maybe a weight lifting scene or whatever they are doing and Joe unable to concentrate... maybe even trying to hide a boner seeing Travis getting hot and sweaty... Another panel of awkward convo with Travis going to get a drink of water (Obvious blush cause he saw the boner), and then at that point Meesh could have Joe act on his urges, only for the readers to later find out that Joe was dreaming and so Joe leaves... AND THEN FINALLY Travis runs outside or into the locker room or wherever to catch up with him and we get a real kiss (and then some).
