visuals of audio! audio of visuals! frequencies from outer space!
🕑 Added 2023-08-25 19:08:32 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
We are in the workshop today designing visuals of audio. Spoiler alert! There will be space audio in Space Cadet!
I’m trying to make sure the shape of the waveform matches the audio in the score and vice versa. Which comes first? audio or visual? That’s a question I’ve been asking myself for years! But in Space Cadet, the answer is: both! For certain scenes we’ll be going with what “reads” better visually and I score to the picture. And other times, the sound design is set and we have to make the graphics to represent it visually.
More updates to come! Have a great weekend everyone!
