I am talking about working with a graphic score in today's video. A nice break from more gear-focused videos I feel, and for a good research subject. I had before shooting this no idea that Morton Feldman lived upstairs from Cage - what a house that must have been!

I had a few recording sessions just last week and had prepared a graphic score. Did one version with a string quartet and an another one with three flutes and three clarinets. Very useful material for sound-design the writing and reading of which would be a real pain using conventional notation. I can send you a picture of the score if you like.

excellent!!! i think in shape/color quite a lot, so graphic scores are wonderful to work from and to write. happy to see more coverage of them.
