"The trial was a success," reported Doctor Karl. "Tests showed no ill effects from the pills and measurements show it worked as designed!" He left as the nurse came into the room.
*rrippp* The nurse unstrapped Sage from the equipment. "How do you feel?" she asked.
Sage replied, "Jane, I feel a little underwhelmed... they say it worked but... 1/4 inch after a week here seems incredibly slow."
"Aww, don't worry. Sometimes these don't work out as fast as you'd hope," Jane replied. "Here, let's get you measured one last time before we send you out."
Sage unfastened her gown and shuddered as the nurses cold hands brushed against her skin. "Helen, are your hands always this cold?"
"Afraid so," she replied. "All right, going to measure across the bust so... uh... sit down."
Sage recalled one of the side effects... quite fondly. On the second night right before she slept, the nurse measured her to check for any progress. Then, as the nurse brushed her hand against Sage's nipples, lightning shot through Sage. Sage had collapsed to the floor in a surprise orgasm from the contact.

The nurse looked through the notes, a little perplexed, "It looks like they have you taking one pill a day for 6 months. Wow... that's a long time."
"6 months!" Sage, bemused, thought to herself. "That'll be well past spring break..."
"And here's your bottle," Jane handed her a large bottle full of little blue pills. "And sign here and you can be on your way."
Sage signed the release form and started on her way out.
"Oh, almost forgot! I was supposed to take today's dose." Sage thought and stepped into an alcove with a sink. Sage opened the bottle and took one of the little blue pills out. "These are the same as the ones that they were giving me 2 pills 3 times a day... I wonder if the computer messed things up. I was fine taking 6 over the day this week... I should be fine taking the same dose at home."
Excited, Sage exclaimed out loud, "...and then I'll have the boobs for my swimsuit in just one month!" Embarrassed that she just said this aloud, she looked around. Nobody was around.
She popped 6 of the pills into her mouth and gulped down a glass of water to wash it down. A familiar tingle ran through her as her body began to process the medicine quickly. Warmth flooded through her veins as her body reacted to the growth-inducing medication. Feeling good as ever, she walked out the back door of the clinic to get to her car.
Upon opening the door, she was met with a blast of hot humid air. "This sure seems a lot hotter than when I checked in," Sage thought. As she walked through the hot air, she noticed a couple in jackets, "Crazy people..."

"Well...yeah. I thought there had to be something wrong on the label so I just followed the old instructions," Sage replied.
The nurse thought back, recalling other such incidences. "You do realize it's freezing cold in here, don't you?"
"Yeah, I thought the AC was broken," the girl replied.
"Nope. I'll call the doctor, he'll explain it..." Jane left and brought back Doctor Karl.
Sage heard a whispered conversation between them, "This is the 5th time we've run into this problem... We need to make it clear when we give them the bottle why the count looks wrong..."

"We've seen this quite a bit before, especially in the earlier testing phases until we figured out the cause. The hormone cocktail and other ingredients in that pill have much intensified effects when the body is warm. We found that keeping the temperature sufficiently low here, that we could monitor size changes and reactions. That way if there was a runaway reaction to the calculated dose, it could be managed."
The doctor continued, "In your case, we computed that your warm dose was only one pill vs the 6 required to overcome the cold... however since you didn't take the prescribed dose, your body went into overdrive."
Sage interrupted, "Oh... I heard there were other cases. Are these going to grow any more after this?"
"No. The pills were formulated to have a strong short-term growth effect, so you should be done. We can help you schedule an appointment to take care of those," the Doctor replied.
"Take care of them.... Oh! You mean a reduction?! Never!" Sage replied, offended at the suggestion.
The nurse chuckled and said to the doctor, "It never fails, does it?"
"Nope. Every time they want to keep them. Thank goodness, else we'd be shut down from the surgery bills."
"So... is it safe for me to go home?" Sage asked.
"We'll run a quick checkup and send you on your way again," Doctor Karl replied.
The nurse took Sage back to a small triage room and checked her vitals. "Fit as a whistle," the nurse commented.
"How do you like them?" the Nurse asked conspiratorially.
"Well... they were a surprise but... they feel amazing and... Am I insane or shouldn't I be having a ton of trouble standing upright?" she replied.
"Ever since our first incident, it looks like every time this happens, the body compensates," the nurse confirmed.
"Why haven't the instructions been more clear?" Sage asked.
"To be honest... and please don't hate me... I left out the instructions on purpose because I thought that you would appreciate it. I had a gut feeling. Am I right?" Jane replied.
"Well... you were right. And besides, with the original schedule I wouldn't have been where I wanted to be originally until 6 months..." Sage replied.
"Alright. Glad to hear," the nurse exhaled in relief and dismissed Sage. "You're good to go."
As Sage walked out the building, she started to think about how she would explain the sudden change to Jamie. "I bet she's going to beg on hands and knees to play with them. I'm going to have to milk this for what its worth and make her earn it."
Sage got into her car and heard a rustling of pills... "Oh! They left me with the pills.... I don't think I can take any more, can I? ... Oh! I wonder if Jamie would like a pair... Yes. I think I'll let her give them a try. They did, after all, tell me that nobody has had real problems yet, so... she should be fine," Sage thought as she headed home.
