- Description:
Yesterday I completed the third stage of development, "Detail Animation", and now begins the "Facial Animation" stage.
As the name suggests, this is where I focus on adding facial expressions and other elements to enhance or emphasize what the models are trying to convey. The good thing is that as I completed the previous three stages, I made progress in this area, so I now have a solid foundation to continue improving.
I'll also be checking details that I may have missed from the previous stage.
Finally, I have a preview of what the final video will look like, and the cameras I'll be using (the cameras will be improved when the camera animation stage arrives).
Finally, in the preview you can see some of what I call "Ghost frames". These are errors that I can't see in mmd, since they only appear when I render (in mmd it animates at 30fps and I render at 60, which means that when I render, for each frame a new one is generated that I don't see and therefore, over which I have no control). I have several ways to solve these errors, but that will be at a later stage.
