This is... definitely not the most lighthearted page I've ever done - far from it, I think.
I painted the characters/symbols - this is a lot of fun, but it is tricky to know what imagery might work best. I hope it does Rehema's story justice. :)
This background has a texture from the free resource LostandTaken.com because it was gonna be dark - not exactly worth painting too much texture or anything. I wanted the focus to 100% be on Baya's portrait.

Yeah, hyenas can be quite vicious. In a group, they are perfectly capable of holding out against a lone lion or even a pair. The difference of course is that real hyenas in our world aren't good or bad - they're just animals. Baya and her clan are another story...

As some one whose watched documentaries where hyenas swarmed lone lion . . I can already image the horror these lions, especially the cubs, went through. :c

That's a VERY astute observation. :)
I notice only two cubs are bleeding meaning the third is Noka.

Wow… chilling. O.O Great job on this imagery, especially in these last two pages! Though it’s rather simple, it captures the mood perfectly IMO. Those poor cubs. Baya is absolutely despicable. :(
