Patreon Changes + Upcoming Affect3D release news! Please read, feedback wanted :)
🕑 Added 2019-02-14 14:53:31 +0000 UTCSo I've been waiting to find the right moment to talk about this, but I had a chat with Marie Fasolt yesterday so now's as good a time as ever :D
I've got two releases planned with A3D. One is for March 23rd, and one is for an undetermined date in June. For both sets, I will do early access posts here of part of the sets' content. I'm thinking somewhere in the 25-50% total renders range.
The March Release:
In March I'm going to do a Yelena + Tatiana release, with an actual storyline to support it. This is going to be a bit along the line of Kayla Meets Marcella, and maybe just exactly like it. I need to strike the right balance there, but either way it's going to be story-based with a LOT of explicit sex.
The June Release:
In June, All Our Secrets 2 is coming out! Yes, a full two years after All Our Secrets in which Mari and Marcella went at each other in a club setting, Marie and I are teaming up to deliver the sequel. The first AOS was honestly the product of failed ambitions. It was a nice enough set, but what I initially had in mind when I set out to produce it was far more than what I eventually created. I didn't have the skills and the knowhow to make what I truly wanted, but now I do.
Marie and I are going to sit down and co-write the story for it, as well as have a look at what other things she can contribute. Obviously she's a very talented erotic voice actress, so hopefully we can work something out in that area.
Again, Patreon supporters are going to get part of the content throughout production.
Patreon Changes - DISCLAIMER: Nothing is yet final!
Beyond that, I'm going to be restructuring Patreon a little bit. It's not going to be a massive overhaul, but I do need to simplify the way I've setup my tiers, in terms of how I deliver my content. It's starting to get a bit confusing haha.
To give you an idea of where I want to go, I want to divide the 5/10/15 dollar tiers a bit more simply. I'm thinking something like this, but it's not final and input is very welcome:
$5 Desire Tier:
- Access to character biographies + unedited renders
- The monthly comic chapter
- A download link to a random older A3D release (2+ years) every month
$10 Craving Tier:
- The abovementioned
- The unedited versions of up to 10 renders used in producing the monthly comic
- A download link to my latest Affect3D release
$15 Lust Tier
- The abovementioned
- But all 20 unedited renders instead of 10
- A download link to my latest two Affect3D releases
From the look of this there are three clear changes the reward structure. The first is the character biographies one, that I moved down a tier to Desire. The reason for this is that there will only be as many biographies as there are characters. And while some might eventually require an update, or a character might get added, this isn't exactly monthly content. I want to create greater incentive for people to support me at a lower tier, and reduce the gap between content volume.
The second big change you can see is the quantity of A3D releases. I want to make more A3D releases available for higher tiers, but I also want to give lower tiers a chance at something good. If we're talking two years old as threshold for lower tier rewards, then there really is a whole bunch of good stuff in there. From All Our Secrets 1, to the Glam Gone Wild sets, to the Mari's Lingerie Obsession series by the end of this year.
The third change is a bit more hidden: namely what I'm not offering in the list anymore. Namely access to "polls and input on content direction." I want to make that more generally available. I want people to be able to vote on Patreon Exclusive comics, like the series I would do after KMM, as well as a new weekly feature I'm planning on introducing where I let people vote on which of my really, really old renders to remaster. I would make this available for all patrons.
Same with animation updates, those are going to come in faster and faster and I want to share them with everyone. I'm too excited about them myself, but I also realise that they're not necessarily considered a "reward" by most people. It's just... me talking about WIP stuff. I think I overvalued how interesting that would be.
Lastly, I want to re-evaluate content exclusivity. In other words, is there a point at which you guys would be ok with me compiling Patreon releases, or parts of Patreon releases, to be sold on Affect3D? My intuition says that a moratorium of a year on Patreon exclusives is fair, where I could for example sell the KMM comic pages, but keep the unedited renders exclusive. I also understand if some of you would feel like I shouldn't ever release it at all, however. I should probably do a poll on that but it's good to get some preliminary input here.
So, longass post. If you took the time to read all this, thank you xD The reward structure as outlined would considerably simplify my Patreon workflow while, I believe, increasing money's worth for all of you. I would love to hear your take on all this, so don't hesitate to reply.

Well this comment came through fine!
Nice update. Im happy with how things are. Id like to see another set with kayla since she’s my favourite character. Patreon only sets would be awesome. It’s Also awesome to know your plans. Keep up the brilliant and hot work. For some reason message notifications aren’t working so i dunno if I’ll get back to u. I haven’t been commenting much cus of it

I think it's a good idea to sell older patreon sets, hopefully it will attract new people here. And i can't wait for the march and june releases.

Honestly my concentration was shot at Yelena & Tatana & explicit sex 🤪 But through my blurry vision, the rest seems very reasonable and I’ll still feel satisfied at my tier. Also, Marie F. voice work? My ears are throbbing....
TheDude3DX
Good to know you thought the same. That means it's not just me. I was kinda worried I was actually overcomplicating matters by introducing a reward tier update, but it seems like I'm not. And thanks for the kind words!
TheDude3DX
Thank you! I'm glad you're this supportive :D So far the changes seem to be going over well with people. If this keeps up I'll probably make the changes over the weekend.

I'll readily admit that I have a hard time choosing haha. I had my sister choose and she felt like the ponytail version was more classy, while the short hair was more slutty. I think I agree with that, so it's kinda contextual to the set which haircut I would use.
TheDude3DX
Glad to hear it :D Thanks for the input!
TheDude3DX
Thanks! Yeah the first time I saw that picture I was in awe haha. She's insanely hot and an almost perfect real-life version of what I'm creating. So I had to do something with it :D Good to know you're on board for the changes, as well!

This seems very reasonable to me as far as the structure goes. It makes things more simple for new and old patrons. I was wondering if you were going to tweak it a bit since I thought that the structure was getting a bit messy. This seems very fair if not better than before for patrons and including the bios I think would help entice people to become patrons since they are getting a look at your extreme quality work. I must say I have enjoyed the ride since your early days on A3D and I can't wait to see what the future holds. Thank you for providing great erotic art at a fair price so people like me don't contemplate whether they are actually getting their money's worth. Good luck and I always can't wait to see your next work.

First off, the Breanna render is just WOW! I hate to say that I want time to hurry up, but the March and June releases are making want them to hurry up and get here! LOL! I think you've hit upon a pretty good balance of content for the individual tiers. Seems to match each tier well, in my opinion. I like the idea of everyone here having input in the polls and input. More people voting or giving input could be a good thing. Lastly, I like your idea of exclusivity. The one year moratorium seems fair and we get to still have the unedited renders for just Patrons. You are doing this as your means of supporting yourself, so I personally have no objections to you offering your Parteon works for sale after a year. And by you putting things like KMM up on A3D, it could attract more people here when they see what they're missing out on. Those Patreon works on A3D could help push this to your top goal! I don't think anyone here wants to see you stop making more of your MARVELOUS works and would LOVE to see you move more into animation as well!

Personally I like the short hair version, it's so fluffy. =) And the Patreon structure to sell older Patreon without exclusive items sounds reasonable to me.
TheDude3DX
Please keep the blood in your brain. You kinda need it there.

What an awesome reproduction of her Instagram post, I follow her as well and they are both smokin hot in this picture! As for the changes, they are perfect and look forward to your next post.

WOW! REALLY HOT, OH DEAR THE BLOOD HAS JUST LEFT MY BRAIN

That March release sounds so good. A new Yelena and Tatiana piece sounds so good. I hope you keep the majestic cumshot sequences going! <3 That Breanna render is amazing! Still prefer the ponytail but I will always admit that short hair style is really good. I guess my problem is she doesn't look like a young brat anymore, which is I guess is the point for that new style? Amazing work as always!!!!

Gotta give credit where credit is due, I took the inspiration for it from this: https://www.instagram.com/p/Br6k2VInW9b/ I put the short hair version up on my own instagram, officialdude3dx.

You have to be kidding with that blue and yellow combination. It's perfect 👌🏼 And the plans for the future... Dude I am so happy to be your Patreon. Keep it coming 👍🏻
