You can now find me on Futa3DX! - Plus other content news!
🕑 Added 2024-03-06 01:42:27 +0000 UTCAs some of you might've already discovered, since February 28 available in another store! Not my entire library, but just the shots from the sets above: The Girl Within 1-3, and Words Unspoken 1 & 2. Basically, anything that's a comic (or is part of a series that includes comics) will sooner or later be released on Futa3DX.
The website's a streaming platform, so my earnings there are as part of a percentage of total streams. Ultimately it's more ideal for animation than comics, but the website hosts both and whereas I do not have animation yet, I do have comics ready to share! I think most of you will have already seen these, but I figured I'd post a heads-up here on Patreon anyway.
So, why did I move to an additional store?
More eyeballs, that's why! Simply more ways for people to gain access to what I make. I'm still very happy to publish on Affect3D, and will continue to do so. This is just another way to get my content out there. But this is also the beginning of a content policy change I intend to implement soon:
I'll no longer be making a difference between store-releases and Patreon exclusives. But that doesn't mean everything on Patreon will necessarily be released in stores! Confusing? Let me explain.
When I originally started out, the idea was to keep pumping out A3D releases and to give people who wanted to support me on Patreon something extra. This is why to this day, the Indulgence Tier includes my entire Patreon-only backlog, but I still refer people to the A3D store for the sets I sell there.
Very soon, I'm going to be making all my A3D content available on Patreon as well. This is to be consistent with how I'm going to be producing in the future: everything will be for Patreon first. Over time, I will decide what is appropriate for store releases and what isn't. And with store releases, I mean A3D and Futa3DX both.
That means someone on my Patreon is always getting content first, and is also getting content that people who aren't here won't get at all.
This will allow me to simplify my production pipeline and will make free incredible amounts of time. No longer will I have to worry about "oh I need to get a set out for A3D on XYZ date, but I also need to make Patreon exclusive content so people on there don't feel like they're being ignored." This has been a huge hassle and part of the reason why sometimes it feels like there's a content-drought on here.
From now on, I will publish new content here first, and eventually determine whether or not it goes for a store release to A3D / Futa3DX.
The net results of this I hope will be:
1) More content funneling into Patreon early
2) Higher influence of Patrons on content direction through polls (like we did with Peak 2's outfit choices)
3) More variation of content direction (one month I can work on story stuff, another I can be more smut-oriented) as well as content location (I can sorta just work on what I feel like making instead of having to consider whether or not it's good enough to be sold as a store package).
So, if you made it to the end of this post, thanks for reading :D For everyone else:
TL;DR Patreon will start getting content earlier, with 3DX stores getting releases later.
