Kaa and the Spooky Forest
🕑 Added 2025-10-13 16:00:11 +0000 UTCMeghan's sneakers slapped against the damp pavement, each step echoing in the quiet suburban street. She glanced at her phone. Late again. The shortcut through Oakwood Forest loomed dark between the houses, a quicker route home than the looping sidewalk. She hesitated only a moment before plunging into the trees.
The forest swallowed the streetlights instantly. Meghan pulled her jacket tighter against the chill, navigating by the faint glow of her phone screen. Fallen leaves muffled her footsteps, and the air smelled of wet earth and decaying wood. She didn't see the thick, patterned coil resting beside a mossy log until she was almost upon it.
Kaa's head lifted smoothly from his coils, golden eyes catching the dim light. Meghan froze mid-step. The snake's gaze held hers—not aggressive, but impossibly deep and focusing, and soon the hypnotic patterns began to emerge. A strange calm washed over her, pushing aside the jolt of fear. Her phone slipped from her fingers, landing silently in the leaf litter.
Her jacket slid off her shoulders first, pooling around her ankles. Then the rest of the outfit followed. The fabric whispered down her legs, leaving her standing in only undergarments. The snake gave a slow, deliberate nod toward the faint glow beyond the trees—her destination. He coiled himself around her torso as she began to walk, a free ride to his suburban home.
Her bare feet sank into the loamy earth as she walked toward the distant light. Twigs snapped softly beneath her soles, the forest floor cool and yielding. She felt no urgency, no fear—only the velvet pull of Kaa's command humming behind her temples. Moonlight caught the dampness on her skin when she emerged from the treeline, facing a small house with a porch light burning yellow.
The door opened before she reached it. You stood silhouetted in the doorway, eyes widening as she approached. Meghan climbed the steps without hesitation, stopping inches from you. Her gaze remained distant, unfocused, as she extended one bare foot slightly forward—an offering. The scent of forest moss clung to her skin.
Your breath hitched. Kaa's gift was flawless: her arches dusted with soil, toes curling slightly in the evening breeze. You knelt instinctively, fingers trembling as they brushed her ankle. The first touch was electric—cool skin yielding beneath your palm. Meghan sighed softly above you, a sound like leaves settling. Her stillness deepened. Your thumb traced the curve of her heel, finding the pulse point there. Strong. Steady. Waiting.
You leaned closer, inhaling the scent of crushed ferns and damp earth clinging to her soles. Your tongue flicked out tentatively—a quick, feather-light stroke between her second and third toes. Salt and forest loam exploded on your tastebuds. Meghan’s foot twitched, then relaxed completely against your mouth. Emboldened, you laved the entire sole in slow, worshipful strokes, savoring the grit beneath your tongue. Her quiet moan drifted down like moonlight.
It was too late to send her on her way. For now she'd have to spend the night with you and leave when it was light out. You guided her inside and continued your foot fun.
