IMPORTANT [READ AND VOTE PLS]

lately I'm experiencing a lot of problems with Patreon, tiers, payout stuck, questions and most importantly, in a few months, Patreon plans to eliminate several payment models (the way different creators can monetize their work, monthly, per creation, per terms or with posts).
This will mean a big change for all creators with a different model, myself included.
You will not be affected, maybe in the waiting time to receive the rewards, but the change is only bad for the creators, as we have to wait for all of you to move (move?). Yes, because to compensate, the creators will have to create new tiers (because we can't modify the ones we have if there are people in) or in the worst case a new Patreon with new tiers adapted to the new model. Which will be VERY difficult since 60% of the patrons normally do not read warnings, posts or alerts.
So I wanted to know your opinion about this and vote what way would be easier for you to follow (THIS WILL NOT AFFECT THE REWARDS/QUALITY/TIME/AMOUNT)
A. Keeping this patreon page, adding new tiers for the new model and letting you to move. The cons of that is that I already have 8-10 tiers +3 new ones, if just 1 person is in the tier I can't eliminate it (which is very likely to happen, because it happened before and was just a tier with 6 people, imagine 100)
B. Use MICAv1 patreon (MICA was my personal project) for the transition. MICAv1 has already 3 tiers, so I'll probably just have to add 1 in the worst case. The cons are that many people won't read about the moving and it will be very difficult to be sure everybody knows what is happening.
C. Create a new fresh Patreon Page with the tiers I need. The cons are the same and option B, it will be difficul to notify and be sure that all of you read about the move.
I personaly prefer option A, it will be a chaos but not impossible, because B/C are kind of impossible in my mind to be successful.
Even so I want to know what do you think.
The transition will be during THE END of this month, I'll make a post about the new tiers and how to move, I'll be drawing as always so it's just about moving. Rewards won't be affected.
To make it easier I'll keep some of the tier as they are already, just changing the content, so PLEASE READ YOUR TIER REWARDS!

I think either option A or C would be best, cause your name N I X E U is how people recognise you so if you have a way different name with option B that's probably not ideal, also tbh that name is quite difficult to remember (at least for me)

I chose C for several reasons. First being you'd be stuck with the old Tiers that just wouldn't work anymore. Second, as you mentioned yourself, The Majority of Patrons would't even figure out what's going on so they stay stuck on the old tiers. Third, counting these two together it wouldn't make a diffrence if you switched the Account, use an already existing one or stay with the original with even more confusing Tiers. The Patreons that actually listen will follow every case, wich makes C the less confusing/frustating one. Since C is like a new Beginning with a completely thought through new Tier System.

I will be sure to read whatever you choose in the end and move accordingly, but I understand not everyone will... (A) would definitely be the safest move in my opinion, but I'm not a patreon creator.

If you're having problems with people reading messages would it potentially be an idea to include any important information regarding this stuff in the DM with the rewards?

Your arguments for all options are very valid. All things considered I agree that option A is the path of least "resistance" for you. Lets just hope the chaos part will be short lived.

They take a 8% base, it can be 12%, if you pay with iOS, you are paying +30% to the apple store too. I tried my best contacting them to talk and explain why this changes are horrible, but they really want to keep Patreon for iOS I guess. Many other artists are trying too but nothing...

Why does it seem like they are absolutely digging themselves further and further into a hole of “how much can we stress out our content creators”? Also just curious, if I’m paying, say $100 a month for a creator, how much of that actually goes to them and not to Patreon? And has that changed in the time of you using it?
