that even strongly confirms my theory as well, i also thought maelstrom was dialga, some kind of off-shoot due to the condition primal dialga might be in... this certainly seems to strongly suggest so! very intriguing...

Aww, our little gay dog is falling in love. And right on time, Malachi is about to steal the Time Gear. Way to ruin the moment, dude. On a more serious note, man the characterization and art in this comic is consistently amazing. I was feeling the good vibes from the first page, but then between the dialogue and everyone’s expressions on the second and third pages, the tone completely shifted. Hopefully it ends on a happy note though. I’m going to be STRESSED if this tense of a scene is how the chapter ends.

the expressions on this page are SO good. the third page first panel feels very tense!! i’m interested to see where Malachi goes from here. follow the original plan of the guild, or help Maelstrom like he’s been wanting to for ages? this is such a fun twist!!
