April Release: Sacred Reliquary Unit!
🕑 Added 2021-04-08 18:52:32 +0000 UTCHi guys! ⚔️⚔️
Hope you’re having a great week.
Today we can finally show you the Sacred Reliquary unit and the crusaders bases!
This miniature is composed by two crusaders guiding the dead knight who is holding the relic. For this miniature we’ve tried to recreate one of the most famous legend Castilian knight, Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, also knows as “El Cid Campeador”. His legend was magnified by the influence of the 12th-century epic poem of Castile, El cantar de mío Cid (“The Song of the Cid”).
The legend says that, after the Cid passed away during the siege of the city of Valencia, he was dressed with his armor and tied to this horse Babieca, and he was sent to the front line of the battle to encourage his soldiers, charging against the Almoravids and winning the battle. This scene was beautifully immortalized by Charlton Heston in the movie El Cid (1961).
In case you haven’t seen it, we highly recommend you that movie! Here you have the trailer:

Also, for the relic we have make a little tribute to one of our favourites videogames, the Assassin’s Creed saga, specially the first one. If you have played that games, you already know what it is... the apple of Eden!
The theme of the crusader bases is the desert from the holy lands! Also, the size of the reliquary square base is 40x60mm and the round base is 60mm.
We’ve already sent all the release to be pre-supported so it’ll be available in a few days!
In a few days we’ll make a post with a little update that we’ve made with our first releases, we’ll tell you very soon!
Hope you like it guys, we read you as always! ❤️
