Call For Questions For DF Direct Weekly #238

What's on the docket? Quite a bit actually, so we'll be pruning down the topics somewhat but we will be looking at the latest patch for Metal Gear Solid Delta, which Tom says is a marked improvement over launch code - on PS5 Pro at least. Base PS5 testing still to go.
More, you say? Oliver is taking a quick look at Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2, while John is quite excited a couple of things: Lumines Arise and Routine, which finally has a release date! Oh and yes, why not talk about the Assassin's Creed Shadows Switch 2 port?

Hello Gents! With AMD now relegating RDNA1 and RDNA2 GPUs to basically legacy status, I imagine a lot of consumer trust in the Radeon brand has been eroded. I personally will find it difficult to recommend AMD GPUs to anyone I know who is in the market for one. I'm also kinda' regretting my purchase of an RX 6950XT a few years ago. With the fact that they only produced two models of GPU this generation, effectively abandoning the high end market, is this a sign that AMD is in any way moving away from the consumer GPU market in favor of their partnerships with Sony Playstation, Valve, etc?

Hello independent game scientists, the word is out: According to the big boss of Microsoft, Windows is their main gaming business. For me the fog is clearing up around the xbox spectacle (debacle?). How about you? On a personal note i don't see an Windows (gaming) PC or handheld anytime soon in my living room, hoping on a steam deck 2. But i see what the big boss is getting at: Apple, Google and even Amazon tried to concur the living room...
