2025年11月挨拶/November 2025 Greeting

皆様お元気でしょうか。
私はなんとかやっております。
さて、今月で始めてから三ヶ月目。出来はさておき、毎月漫画を描けている事にちょっぴり達成感を感じております。
もっと多くの方に見てもらいたいので、そこは色々努力ですねぇ。
頑張ろ。
さて今回のテーマは、『エアライダー』。
ゲームの話かよ！
ゲームの話だよ！
20日に発売されてからやっておりますが、これがなかなかすごい。
最近の「ゲームは複雑であるもの」と言う概念に真っ向からぶつかっています。
・ボタン数が少なくシンプルだが、簡単ではない
これがなかなかいい。一口にプッシュと言っても、状況に応じて色んな事が発生します。
プラズマコピーの時はボタンを離せば否が応でも撃ちますし、レーザーワイパー持っていると勝手に元気良くなりますし。
「止まりたいからプッシュしたい」と言う感情に対し、ゲームが本当に多くの反応を示してくる。
AだからB！と、単純な話ではないんですね。
把握しているつもりでも、「しまった今はこうなるんだった」となっちゃう事ばかり。
スペシャルと乗り換えボタンが同じなのも、そのドタバタを発生させるトリガーになっているのです。
「やりたいができない」「したくないがせねばならぬ」
歯がゆさを演出するのがうまい。
・それを吹き飛ばす大騒ぎ
16人！
一度に16人が、そこまで広くないフィールドにいる！
否が応でも他人と接触し、何かが起きます。
そう、「なんか」起こる。
テンパったりしていると、「何が起きたか」すらよく分からない。
でも起きてる。
何かが起きそうな気配がするとますますてんやわんやしますから、プッシュなどの気遣いをしているヒマがない。
そのせいでますます事態は激しくなっていく……
よくできてるんですよね、あちこち。
まあバグとかはちらほらあるので、修正は頑張っていただくとして。
私自身最近のゲームは重く感じちゃってて敬遠していたんですけど、エアライダーはちょうどいい軽さでぴったりフィットしてる感じです。
なんかこんな感じの創作をできるようになりたい（？）
みんなもやろう！ エアライダー！ オフラインでもオンラインでも楽しいぞ！

It's getting colder day by day, and autumn has completely disappeared.
How is everyone doing?
I'm somehow getting by.Well, this month marks the third month since I started. Quality aside, I'm feeling a small sense of accomplishment just from being able to draw a manga every month.
I want more people to see it, so I guess I need to put in some effort in various ways.
Alright, let's do this!
This month's theme is "Kirby Air Rider."
It's about a game!
Yes, it's about a game!
I've been playing it since it came out on the 20th, and man, it's really something.
It completely goes against the recent idea that "games have to be complicated."
・Few buttons, simple controls, but not easy
This part is especially great. Even something as basic as "pressing a button" triggers all kinds of different outcomes depending on the situation.
With the Plasma ability, letting go of the button makes you shoot whether you want to or not; with the Laser Wiper, you suddenly become super energetic on your own.
The game responds in so many unexpected ways to the simple desire of "I want to press the button to stop."
It's never just "press A → do B."
Even when you think you've got it figured out, you constantly go, "Oh no, that's what happens in this situation!"
Having the special move and the dismount button be the same also perfectly fuels the chaos.
"I want to do it but I can't," "I don't want to but I have to" — it expertly creates that frustrating tension.
・Total mayhem that blows everything away
16 players!
Sixteen people crammed into a field that's not even that big!
You're inevitably bumping into others, and something always happens.
Yes, something happens.
When you're freaking out, you don't even understand what just happened.
But stuff is definitely happening.
The moment you sense something's about to go down, everything turns into pure pandemonium, leaving no room to carefully think about button presses.
And that just makes the situation even more intense...It's so brilliantly designed in every little detail.
Sure, there are a few bugs here and there, so I hope they keep working on fixes.
Lately I've been avoiding modern games because they feel too heavy and overwhelming, but Kirby Air Rider has just the right lightness — it fits me perfectly.
I kind of want to make something with this kind of vibe someday (?)
Everyone, play Kirby Air Rider! It's fun both offline and online!

I haven't played Air Riders 2 yet, but I played Air Ride 1 on the GameCube! It's a brilliant game! City Trial was my favourite mode. I look forward to the next manga! You have my support! :)
