2.3 Beta #3: Jaw Passive, New Pure Titan!
🕑 Added 2025-04-17 09:52:12 +0000 UTCWell, I’ve been fixing a series of bugs and I think I can finally say… Jaw Titan update has reached a stable release!
Most of the features I wanted to introduce in this update are now here: the Jaw Titan with its unique passive, a new pure titan, and the cooldown system! I’ve made several tweaks to other titan-related systems, such as movement and overall optimization. Right now, the only things missing are the decay textures, as Zabat has been busy with work and hasn’t had the time to create them, and of course… a new musical piece to accompany the release of the titan.
Jaw Titan Passive: Unyielding Jaws
Consuming the Jaw Titan grants the inheritor increased bite strength, allowing them to break through hardening and deal "true damage." This passive works slightly differently from the others, as I took some creative liberty imagining what the inheritor’s heads would look like covered in an exoskeleton. The visuals may change in the future, but for now I’m pretty happy with the result.
Additionally, I managed to fix one of the strangest bugs in SnC related to shifters, I was using `distance` instead of `dx` to detect entities. In short, `distance` measures the distance to the entity's pivot located at the feet, while `dx` measures the distance to the hitbox. Because entities in Shingeki no Craft are quite large, many of the hit detections for titans such as attacking other titans, cannons, and thunder spears weren’t being registered properly. Thanks to Energy for bringing this mechanic to my attention—it's now been fixed and is working correctly.
What’s left now is balancing. It’s been a hectic few days, but I plan to host an event to gather feedback and balance the shifters based mainly on this new cooldown mechanic. My goal is to time this with the release of the musical piece to officially wrap up version 1.21.3 and begin porting to 1.21.4 and 1.21.5!

when my friend with the colossal titan activated the explosion i was teleported to him and i as giant jaw i came out of the transformation and now when i transform i am teleported to the point of the explosion and the giant freezes at the first frame of the animation and remains stuck
