in Judy's place, I would like to see and feel the details while being re-dressed; therefore, I would configure the mannequinizer such that the head and torso are in one piece (no joint in the neck) and hope that the re-dressing happens when it is already dark outside and the brightly lit display is reflected in the shop window ...
