Weekly progress report #281
🕑 Added 2025-05-11 11:19:46 +0000 UTCHello! Time for the progress report. I've been doing some stuff with Taeng earlier this week, and decided to make this picture. Have I ever told you that she (or rather her character model) was supposed to be a completely different person? Yeah, her role was initially akin to what Gillian eventually got. But the moment I saw this face expression, I knew Taeng had to become our Taeng. The one we know and sometimes love.
Anyway. Time to tell you what I've been doing last week. I got a bit too busy in the last couple of days, plus the situation here in my city is rough to say the least. Getting everything I've planned done was not an easy task. So, I'm mostly optimising my time and work on remade and restored content. I actually went pretty far ahead and touched Vanessa's shore event in the eighth act (even though I'm not yet done with the seventh) because as important as it is, I always hated the pictures I made for it. The text is fine, though. I'm also working on Melinda's event we voted on. I don't want to make it too long as it would clash with other events from early acts which were mostly short but I still want to make it meaningful and fun. On top of that, I've made some testing images for the endings but those will have to stay secret until I'm ready to present those. The thing about the endings is that they got to be predictable in the sense that you get what you've been working for, yet still have to be interesting and intriguing. Quite the challenge, I gotta say.
That's about it for now. I'll talk more about everything next week, given the chance, will show you more images as well, and, most importantly, I want to thank you all once again for your time, patience and support, and wish you a great day!
