Oh, also! I half-joked in my 5 star review forever ago that the world of HxH was a simulation, but I was ONLY half-joking. How many times this episode is somebody described as “programming” their nen? Just sayin!

I think children could make pretty good DJs

Someone needs to introduce Meruem to magic the gathering, that would solve this whole ant business

1) fuck yeah, loved this episode, thank youuu. 2) I don't know if any of the hosts have seen or read Hikaru no Go, but I read somewhere (citation needed, couldn't find it on a quick search) that Togashi claimed it as an influence on the gungi stuff. There were some panels that were direct references for sure for sure, and some of the themes of HnG show up in the ideology of gungi-playing. (Also it's just a fantastic story.) :)

Very funny day for them to talk about hating CEOs lol

Komugi’s blindness is a neat little litmus test for how human the ants act and sound, disregarding their appearances. She doesn’t seem to suspect a *thing* about them, because they’re basically just humans with atypical bodies at this point. Their speech, their mannerisms… What makes them different from any other person, aside from their appearances?
