I Showed You My Batter
🕑 Added 2023-12-15 05:12:59 +0000 UTCIt was a quarter past three when Amelia felt the soft buzzing of a cell phone against her thigh. She waited a moment before retrieving the sparkly, sequin-covered device from her jacket pocket– needing to ensure her fingers were free of dough or confectionery before laying a hand on it. She’d just spent the last few minutes prepping for a Little Red Raspberry cake and could smell the sweet scent of raspberry puree lingering on her manicured fingertips.
Amelia gently wiped her fingers with a towel and set it aside. When she was sure wouldn’t leave any streaks on the screen, she pulled out her cell and checked it. She navigated to the text messages and she felt the fluttering of butterflies in her lower gut. Amelia would have moved much faster had her phone not been set to vibrate. Working hours or not, the little police siren she’d set for her boyfriend’s specific contact always took priority.
Thinkin abt u
She sighed out loud as she scanned his words. Short and sweet, Officer Dexter Thanatos was always so thoughtful.
The midday rush was over, but customers would still trickle in at enough of a rhythm to keep her busy behind the counter. It would still be a few hours before she closed up shop, but no one was here now but her. What would be the harm in sending one back?
Awww!! Thinkin about u 2!
Can’t wait to see you after work!
Amelia punctuated her reply with three heart emojis–something she typically did when he’d text her out of the blue like this. His disjointed texts always made her feel as though he were typing in a hurry–which as a GAT officer, he probably was. She knew he wasn’t supposed to be on his personal cell during work hours anyway, so his texting always felt special.
Dexter you’re so bad. She thought to herself. As much as she hated thinking he could be risking his job, deep down Amelia reveled in how often he seemed to bend the rules for her sake. Sneaking food into movie dates, trespassing for a walk on the beach, and the ride along that turned into… something else entirely.
Amelia’s ears flicked and her quills stood on end as the bakery’s front door suddenly chimed. Caught off guard by the entry, she flinched hard and scrambled to shove her cellphone out of sight. Shifting uncomfortably on her feet, she adjusted her apron and engaged her patron with a warm smile. She was hoping he hadn’t seen her on her phone, since the very last thing she needed was another hit to her stellar reputation.
Her cellphone buzzed again… twice, and she moved a little more quickly tending the order. According to Dexter, the lynx didn’t often have time to talk while on patrol, and she didn’t want to waste any little he had. A half-dozen Snow Whites and the customer was out of the door, leaving Amelia to her own devices.
She unlocked her screen and immediately turned beet red at the news response.
“O-oh…”
The pink hedgehog’s heart skipped a beat, and her body shuddered as she absorbed the entire message. He was always kind of direct, but he’d never been quite this literal before.
You cn see me now
More shorthand. He must’ve snapped the picture on a whim— but it certainly didn’t look that way from her end. She stared at the image for far longer than she should’ve, quietly fidgeting and contemplating her next course of action while she drank down the naughty picture he’d sent her.
He was so full, and looked weighted in his open palm. Dexter was still in his uniform, only loosely holding his cock for the picture to ensure that there was barely any obscurity at all. She quietly appreciated that level of care, smiling coyly at the barbs that she was sure left their share of marks in the back of that patrol car.
If he’d really been thinking about me when he sent this…
She heard the question in her head and blushed a bit deeper at the answer she came up with. By the looks of this picture, he wasn’t on patrol. He was in a locker room—probably back at the precinct. Maybe he was resigned to desk duty for some, other rule he’d broken. Or maybe he just snuck away from whatever he was supposed to be doing… to take this.
He must have really wanted her to see.
Amelia bit her lip and admired the most private part of him, just as she was sure he wanted her to. He was as stiff as a pretzel stick as he posed, staring down at the screen with that look of smug satisfaction. He was proud of himself, and his penetrating gaze echoed his second message through the screen.
Ur turn
M-My turn??
Amelia held her phone close to her chest and suspiciously looked around the Sweet Soiree’s interior. Surrounded by nothing but pastry, she was the only living thing within these walls–unless one counted the active yeast in the cupboards.
It would be easy enough to slip her singlet down and just…take a quick selfie. After all, he’d snuck away from his post to share such a private moment with her. Gone out of his way even. She couldn’t just stand him like that, not when they’d already come so far.
It took a full 5 minutes to gather her nerve and another few to angle her phone just right for the shot. The lighting overhead was bright enough to illuminate her breasts, so she wouldn’t have to remove anything for him to get a good look at her topless. There were windows all around her, but they were slightly fogged. There was a pretty big risk involved. Anyone could just waltz right in and see her. Her reputation would be in shambles…
And yet…
If she moved fast enough, no one would know she’d sent this picture but him. It could be their little secret, just like the ride along…
