His bright smiles are camera-ready at every angle-- as if he's expecting to be snapped every moment of every day. He's rarely caught off guard and even his worst side grants him hundreds of likes on his silly little gossip blog.
And yet...Chrys's picture-perfect face doesn't do anything for Vance, really.
In fact, Vance prefers this cheeky civet candid. To him, there's a satisfying allure to catching Chrys out of sorts. The contortions on his red cheeks, the way his fur flares and bristles, and the way his thick white brows arch and pinch together when he's trying his best to hold his nerve.
It's delightful.
The best part is the flustering, though. With a few well-timed teases and a claw at that special spot above his tail, Chrys goes from standoffish to shuddering in his little purple pants. Every now and again his tail might twitch in response to a breathy growl, but the surest sign is that stupid little face he makes when he's playing coy. That pout.
That pout is Vance's favorite expression for his boyfriend, and probably what provoked the urge to grab that cellphone. That... and that cute little finish. It was framed perfectly, and he recalled something about pictures lasting a little longer than the moment might.
