In other news its uuh, kinda uuh
My wondering on why work's been so weird lately has been confirmed - its been sold to someone else without the owners letting anyone know...right after they laid us off lol. I was the head manager.
Something about a superstition of saying anything too early would "jinx" things but uuh YEAH...heads up would've been nice.
Im a little MIXED to be honest. I felt more obligated to stay and work there being the only head manager of some five years and was starting to think of moving away to making my art and patreon my main form of income. With all the time it took I could've been working so much more on work I'd actually enjoy and for my supporters and not for people who are rude as all hell and deciding the person behind the counter was the perfect target for their misplaced whatever lol. My therapist and I have been already correlating that my trove of general, social anxiety, adhd and depression makes it really hard and detrimental to my mental health in working long hour customer service of any kind and I really could succeed in my content if I were to put all focus in on it.
But at the same time uuuh its a little scary and I still wish I got a heads up so I can save some more before I go so to speak? But if there's any motivation to go on my own then-...!
Either way this is all a big way to saying thank you for your continued support between this and every other life bump before! With more time expect more content once I adjust and get into a workflow. Im really excited to work on things I love and for the peeps who have my back all the while. I have so much I had on backburner I can finally start pulling out some more ♥
