Not at all, your save file will be carried over but Prologue is not the main game, hence you need to start a new game from V.01. From this client onwards, you can play with the same save files. Sorry for the confusion, is the question related to the client version and save files? To continue the day, player needs to go to bed, that will auto save the game and moved the state to the next day.
You are right, it is to bloomy. When we have enough funding we will hire lighting artist to light the scene better.
