🕑 Added 2017-10-21 10:17:37 +0000 UTC Earlier I asked for some suggestions as to which bit of older art or comic strip I should redraw, and one such suggestion was this sketch.Longtime readers might recall the 2009 April Fool's Gag, which made the site look like an open root directory, which included links to "doc_nopants.jpg" (a photo of an actual polar bear with a black T-shirt crudely airbrushed on) "sandy-topless.jpg" (which was made to look like the JPG file was corrupted, and ended right below her armpits) and "pirtatopless2.jpg", which was a picture of Pirta's waist and legs. With no torso. :)
The "easter egg" to that gag was that if you manually changed the URL to pirtatopless1.jpg, you got the above image on the left.
And at some point in the intervening near-decade, some enterprising reader took it upon himself to rather crudely redraw that low-resolution sketch into the nude version on the right. As I recall, it originally said something like "Good Coffie, Doc", hence the title of this post. :)
Ever since, at least once a year, a reader would spot it in some image board or another somewhere, and bring it to my attention, possibly thinking I might want to have it taken down or something.
Anyway, I'd recently asked for suggestions on which old bits of artwork or strips could use a fresh redraw, and this was one of the ones offered up. I figure yeah, I can do better than that MSPaint redraw. :)
Besides, we haven't had a good nekkid kitty in a while... :)

First I've heard of that. But it shouldn't be a problem here, as the stuff I've drawn barely qualifies as nudity, let alone outright porn. Plus, it seems the rules are aimed much more toward "live performances" rather than drawn art, *and* they seem to be specifically saying the restriction is essentially only if the patron is paying specifically for the porn. In our case here, any artwork I provide of course isn't live, it's not "porn" by any definition other than the strictest Southern Baptist interpretation, and patrons aren't paying for the art directly- they're just the occasional extras, provided if and when I'm able.

I'll admit I've seen this image while testing rule 34 in rare moments of boredom. I may have even saved such a piece... truth be told edits like this make me wonder why edit images of this nature in general are poorly done. Surly a much better artist would have some interest in doing such work... Maybe it could be reasoned that any artist capable of doing so is too busy with their own work or simple respects the effort the original artist put in to 'deface' it. Is it a good or bad thing to have ones work edited?

Forgive me. I merely ASSUMED that your demanding of a cartoon character's nether regions while demeaning those who disagree was some sort of abrasive or impersonable behavior. But now that you have clarified that it's JUST nudity I see now that your immediate hostility to my opinion was rather in good taste. I do not consider nudity porn. To me they are different but related subjects. In this case there is only nudity, no porn.

I am very sorry my opinion offended you. I am also sorry that the comic I have grown to love since 2002 is no more than porn material for you, and that you failed to check my "patron of" list before insinuating that I am too fragile to handle said pornography.

I would just like to throw up the wildly unpopular opinion that the new work might be better with the shorts kept on. But admittedly, I have found it odd that Pirta was in fact not leading in the cheesecake department lately, given her comment on a lack of dignity in the 1 day comic posted in conclusion of the failed T-Shirt run circa ~2006 (I used to have a backup of all those one day comics, but lost it in a format)
