Shiny New Machines!

Finally moving into the 21st century with a real production turning center!
Had to do a few very minor repairs and give myself a head-first crash course in how to program the bloody thing, but she's up and running. And with a little more practice I should be able to start making real parts with this thing!
Yes, the program as shown as a few glitches in it. But considering that four days ago I couldn't have written 90% of that program, I, for one, am quite happy so far. :)
And, of course, it should only get better from here. :D

Nice! I’m just getting started on turning pens and stuff, but it’s so much fun!

On a different topic, the current "storyline" is silly but hilarious! ;-)

Oh heck yeah! We've had Omnis at work for a really long time, they've been work-horses for us. Gonna be awesome, man!

Congrats!
Chips were made! Great progress. How long would it have taken you to do that by hand?

Good luck with the CNC doc. It brings another dimension entirely into the shop.
