Hiro 2 Stream and Presentation Updates
🕑 Added 2019-07-26 04:41:59 +0000 UTCWell, the stream was a total bust.
Had almost 500 viewers which would've been awesome if Youtube didn't first give me a 500 Internal Server Error when trying to stream (literally 4 minutes before I was going to start, the entire stream section of youtube went down), delaying things by an hour, followed by an audio desync of 5 seconds that made it impossible to show off the animation.
It was just that ingestion too, I found out. Doing a private event later, I had no issues with sync.
It's incredibly frustrating and disheartening. I had been planning for this stream for 2 weeks and have had no major issues with streams for 4 months of work, only for there to suddenly be issues when I try to present the final product.
Hiro 2 instead is just going to premiere via a youtube premiere tomorrow. I won't be able to do a live QNA showing as a result, but it'll be at this link: https://youtu.be/f-7AlOJ71kI
I've also made new merch, for anyone interested:
https://www.redbubble.com/people/zedrin - Stickers, various sizes available
https://teespring.com/stores/zedrins-store - Stickers (single size) and t-shirts
I'm still on break technically til the 31st, but I have some stuff planned (using some new animation tricks) for when I get back at least.
