Amber, radiant as always in her silky blouse and pencil skirt, moved through the high-end store with grace. Her heels clicked rhythmically on the marble floor as she gave her final touches to a display of sapphire necklaces. The store was nearly empty, just the way she liked it near the end of her shift.
And then he walked in.
Tall. Composed. Wealth. Everything about him screamed it—not just the designer coat and polished shoes, but the unbothered air of someone who had the world at his fingertips. Amber’s eyes locked with his for a moment. There was something about that gaze. Unapologetic. Assessing. Almost hungry.
"Good evening, sir," Amber said, stepping toward him with her usual warm but refined tone. "How can I assist you?"
He took a moment before speaking, glancing slowly around the boutique, then back to her. "I’m looking for someone with taste. Someone who knows how to pick out what truly matters."
Amber tilted her head, amused. "So you’re not looking for a piece of jewelry. You’re looking for the piece." She smiled knowingly. "You’re in luck. I’m our best expert."
"I had a feeling," he replied, his eyes not leaving hers. "You carry yourself like someone who knows value. Not just in carats."
That was the first crack in the wall. Amber didn’t need much more.
She walked him over to a velvet-lined counter, brushing her hand just a little too close to his as she unlocked the display. "Let’s start with something classic," she said, lifting a diamond choker, its facets catching the light like her eyes.
But he wasn’t looking at the choker.
"I’ve seen diamonds," he said, voice low and deliberate. "Rare ones, flawless ones. But I don’t think any of them ever looked back at me."
Amber’s smile deepened. This wasn’t the first time someone tried to charm her, but the way he said it—there was no desperation. No clumsy flirting. Just want. Confident and direct.
"Are you trying to buy something," she asked, leaning closer, her voice like silk, "or are you just here to flatter the staff?"
He took a step closer too. "Depends. Can I get a private showing?"
She paused. Not from hesitation, but for effect. Her fingers grazed the edge of the choker still in her hand, then slowly, she placed it around her own neck instead of the velvet bust. The diamonds sat perfectly on her skin, right above the curve of her chest.
"Now you’re seeing it like it’s meant to be seen," she whispered.
His gaze roamed, and she let it. After all, she dressed to be admired. She thrived in attention, craved being desired, worshiped, like the queen she knew she was. But this man wasn’t just looking. He was envisioning. Claiming. It stirred something deep in her core.
He stepped in, close enough that she could smell his cologne—rich and deep, like cedar and heat. His hand brushed a stray strand of hair off her shoulder.
"I think we both know," he murmured, "that this boutique isn’t the most valuable thing in the room."
Amber’s breath caught. Not out of surprise, but arousal. A heat had been building in her all evening, and now it burned low in her belly, pulsing through her. She turned her back to him slowly, the diamonds catching every light in the room.
"Then help me," she said, voice soft and inviting, "with the clasp."
His fingers found the hook behind her neck, but instead of rushing, he lingered, the warmth of his hand brushing the bare skin of her nape. She closed her eyes for just a second, letting herself lean into it. Into him.
"This is a dangerous game," she whispered, heart racing.
"Then let’s play."
Before she could respond, his hand slid down her back with a confidence that stole the breath from her lungs. She turned, her chest brushing his, eyes locked with his hungry gaze.
The boutique’s soft lights dimmed around them. Time slowed.
And then Amber leaned in, her lips brushing his ear.
"Lock the doors."
The metallic click echoed through the boutique. Amber turned the sign to CLOSED and slowly walked back, hips swaying as her heels tapped a slow rhythm. She didn’t need to say a word. Her eyes did it for her—inviting, daring, seductive.
He stood there, watching her. When she reached him, she slid the choker off her neck and placed it gently on the counter.
"It’s delicate," she murmured. "Unlike me."
His smile widened. She stepped closer again, her hands tugging lightly at his collar, pulling him in until their lips met. A slow, electric kiss—charged with the build-up of looks, silences, and the words they hadn’t spoken yet. Her fingers explored, tracing the line of his jaw, the shape of his shoulders, the firmness beneath his suit.
He didn’t waste time. His jacket dropped first, then his hands were on her, gliding over silk and curves, claiming her in a way that made her gasp. She leaned back against the velvet-lined counter, welcoming the pressure of his body as he pressed closer.
Her blouse slid off her shoulders, pooling onto the floor with a whisper. He took his time, savoring every inch, trailing kisses down her collarbone, along the curve of her chest. Her breath hitched, eyes fluttering closed, body arching toward him.
Amber moaned low, her fingers tugging his belt open with deft grace. Their clothes scattered like petals, the tension between them snapping into action. Her back met the counter, cool against her heated skin, as his hands lifted her gently onto it.
Their mouths found each other again, more urgently now. Passion built in waves, her legs wrapping around his waist, guiding him closer. Every movement was deliberate—no hesitation, no rush—just the intensity of connection, of need.
His name never passed her lips. She didn’t ask for his. That night, in the quiet glow of diamonds and velvet, they weren’t people anymore. Just bodies, heat, and rhythm. She moved with him, met every thrust with a wanton sigh, nails digging gently into his back, pulling him closer, deeper.
And when it came—when the moment took them over—it was everything. Slow and burning, sharp and full. Amber clung to him, trembling, breathless, utterly undone.
In the silence that followed, their breathing slowed. The boutique was still, save for the faint buzz of the chandelier above.
Amber, still catching her breath, slid gracefully to her knees, her posture full of elegance even in retreat. Her hands moved with quiet care, delicately cleaning him with reverent tenderness, each motion calm and deliberate.
She looked up, her eyes locking with his. There was something deep and unchanging in her gaze, a silent promise. Still kneeling, she leaned forward and pressed a soft, parting kiss to his hip. It lingered just long enough to brand itself into memory.
Then, with graceful poise, she stood. Adjusting her skirt with a fluid motion, she gave him one last look—a smile that was both mischievous and queenly, as if dismissing him from court. Still saying nothing, she walked slowly toward the back door, her steps light but certain.
Only the scent of amberwood and roses remained in her wake, and the echo of something far too intimate to be forgotten.

Celes being by far the easiest for me, Amber is a breeze to work with. Her behaviour and demeanour isn't that far from Celes, they could be sisters that you wouldn't know, in some ways. Raven though, is a different story. I have to be very careful because, at the opposite of the two electrons living with her, she has a strict way of life. It's a bit less natural to write for her but also, if I have to be honest, it's.. idk, familiar. I struggled on the last set around the images only, because I was tired and I'm having a rough schedule since March, but the story, it's going well and smooth and I'm having a lot of fun around them. It might be possible for me to drop more of them in the future, not necessarily that long, but who knows, I enjoy making them!

Wonderful story telling from her/your perspective! Absolutely loved it. 😍 The pictures were definitely grand to admire but the storytelling is what primed my imagination to give this pictures life. This is why I think you have a craft at engage reader. The details were subtle but important, the movements detailed and hinting but never telling. It painted an encounter between two people with similar desires, having a passionate tryst, and end with me want more of this lovely creature you call Amber. Now can’t wait to read more of Cel and Raven too! 😍
