Hello everyone,
I just want to use this first post since the release of the demo version to explain a bit more about the system and the spirit of the game (and hopefully of the games, if I like it and can continue in the future). To explain it clearly, I think it’s better to begin with what I don’t want to implement (as Michelangelo replied to the Pope asking him how he made the statue of David “It’s simple. I just remove everything that is not David.”):
· Giant empty maps (or just giant maps). On the contrary, I’d rather just focus on a few small areas and implement as much details and life as I can. I find it more pleasant for the player, and it also has the advantage to avoid the kind of pointless quests that requires walking 10 minutes from a point A to a point B without any other reason than create an artificial lifetime for the game.
· Dungeons and fights. I just want to do an erotic game and have no ambition for a traditional RPG. Except if you find an extremely good mechanism (like in Karryn’s Prison), it’s really hard in my opinion to make it relevant in terms of eroticism
· Deep story with endless dialogues and narrative ambition. Again, I just want to focus on sex. However, if I find something interesting regarding that point (like blackmailing with Agrippina or some Patricians who were historical enemies of Messalina…), I may think about implementing it
· There are some elements for which I’m not sure at this point, like a pregnancy system, as many people like it. If I find something interesting about it, I might implement it
So, as you can see, I just want to do it simple and straight, and will try to remove everything that isn’t sexual
Now, concerning the update. I’m currently working on the scenes that will come with the 0.1 version, and try to find a way to link everything together. Being on holiday in my home country for a week, I don’t have all the software I need with me, so I mainly focus on writing, doing the sketches and thinking about the system with just pen and paper. It’s also good to change a bit sometimes and take the time to really think about the project as a whole, which is what I’m trying to do now.
That’s all for this week. The next weekly update will probably focus more on the content of the new scenes.
See you next week!

I hope the game will have multiple endings at least.
