Shoot Out 2
🕑 Added 2017-05-13 02:29:09 +0000 UTC I'm still unsure how to begin this next sequence. I may end up quickly zooming in on the soldier as he turns to fire then hold the shot once he takes a bullet to the face. I won't use much blood so much as I'll have his face cave in. Again, still hesitant about this scene. The miniature M16 at the bottom is from a Medicom Naked Snake figure I own (custom) that I totally forgot I had so I'll be using that as reference for certain angles.
Also I want to thank you guys for the feedback in the last post. I'm going to leave revisions until everything is complete, right now what is most important is the 'feel' of the animation, which is sort of an abstract thing. I guess atmosphere is what I'm saying.
Anyway, back to it.

Yeah it's a Beretta in the original game but I wanted a gun that technically hadn't been used in the series, although like you said the AM D114 is the Browning equivalent. Not knowing my guns I looked up South African service pistols and saw the Browning and went for that, although the Browning as a service pistol is pretty common around the world.

One resource that could be useful is IMFDb, which has cataloged the guns from every game EXCEPT Metal Gear MSX Here is the entry for TPP: http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Metal_Gear_Solid_V:_The_Phantom_Pain And here is MG2: Solid Snake: http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Metal_Gear_2:_Solid_Snake I dig really your choice of the Hi Power for Snake's OSP pistol - It is the real-world version of Venom Snake's/Diamond Dogs' standard sidearm (the AM D114) so it really works having this as what you would find in a munitions box at Outer Heaven.

Metal Gear has always played around with showing weapons ahead of (M16A1 is Snake Eater) or after (Mk23 in MGS) their prime time in history.
