I talk about that at the end ๐๐พ

Gokus voice actor is the same as Wukongs (Monky Kings) in this!!! Also there's a movie special before this one that's the origin story of MK (Monkie Kid) that was mentioned in the first episode. It's great!

There is a storyline! The first half of season one is mostly for establishing main character personalities. After episode 5 the plotline starts to form and it is VERY compelling and interesting. There are actually 4 seasons now and 3 movie specials, and the movie specials are canon and important to the storyline. The story is based off of a 16th century Chinese legend called Journey To The West which Dragon Ball was inspired by.
