Storm's face flushed crimson at the realization, the blood rushing to her cheeks in stark contrast to her snow-white hair. Her fingers trembled slightly as she unconsciously reached for her throat, imagining what Thor's lightning would feel like coursing through her body.
And to think… she once considered comparing herself to Thor? Believed her weather manipulation powers were somehow on par with his divine command of the elements?
The thought alone made her want to dig a hole and hide forever, burying herself beneath the very earth she once thought she commanded. Years of confidence in her mutant abilities—shattered in seconds by witnessing true godly power.
Luckily...
Her teammates didn't notice her embarrassment, too wrapped up in their own shocked reactions.
Or rather—
Everyone's attention was completely captivated by the stunning broadcast unfolding in front of them, the holographic display casting an eerie blue glow across their stunned faces.
"Psychic powers?" Jean Grey whispered, her own telepathic senses recoiling at the display of raw power.

Mutants had existed for so long, their powers documented and classified by S.H.I.E.L.D. for decades, and never once had they displayed powers of this magnitude!
If they could, the military wouldn't have dared to oppress them so blatantly. The balance of power would have shifted long ago, rewriting the course of human history in lightning and thunder.
"Director…"
Agent Coulson hesitantly approached, steps measured as if walking toward a caged predator. He handed over a tablet with trembling fingers, its screen displaying ancient manuscripts and comparative analyses. "Thor… seems to actually exist in Norse mythology. The Asgardian God of Thunder—fond of battle and fine drink…"
Fury snatched the device, scanning through pages of information with practiced efficiency despite his inner turbulence.
"His powers? Thunder. Skilled in warfare. Also known as the God of War in some regional traditions…"
"But most importantly!" Coulson continued, finding his courage as he pointed to a specific image on the screen.
"Mjölnir."
"A weapon said to be forged from the core of a dying star, crafted by dwarven smiths in the heart of Nidavellir. And appearance-wise…" he swallowed hard, "it does look exactly like the hammer we're seeing."
He pointed at the thunderous hammer shown in the live footage, where each frame had been enhanced and analyzed by S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most advanced AI systems.
Swallowing hard, undisguised fear flickered in Coulson's usually steady eyes. "Also—the hammer! Our tech team found ancient, fragmented runes engraved on it that no ordinary weapon would bear…"

A hoarse, elderly voice suddenly rang out again, accompanied by the thumping of a wooden cane against floorboards worn smooth by generations of customers.

The front door flew open with surprising force for such an ancient piece of wood.
A tall man with thick brows and big eyes was unceremoniously shoved out of the antique shop, nearly tripping over the threshold.
"Huh? What the—?" Jackie Chan stammered, still clutching a duster in one hand and an ancient vase in the other.
"All this noise—is someone filming a movie?" he wondered aloud, carefully setting down the priceless artifact before straightening up to survey the chaos.
Uncle Jackie scratched his head, still dazed after being broomed out by the old man, his hair disheveled and glasses slightly askew. The bright midday sun momentarily blinded him after the dim interior of the shop.
But quickly—
He realized something was very, very wrong.
There'd been no announcements about any film crews nearby—and Uncle would have never allowed filming near his precious shop anyway. And who the heck rips up the concrete pavement just to shoot a movie? The studio insurance would never cover that kind of damage!
Most importantly…
That guy's claws—they didn't look like props at all. No amount of special effects could create that authentic gleam of metal catching sunlight as they sliced through the air. They looked like they grew out of his body naturally, extensions of the man's rage made manifest in adamantium.
"Werewolf?" Jackie's lips twitched nervously, eye darting between the battling figures. "Old man! Something's not right—there's a monster outside!"
Staring at Wolverine, who defied any sense of science Jackie had learned in his archaeological studies, he turned an unhealthy shade of green and took an instinctive step backward.
He definitely didn't want to get dragged into a supernatural brawl. Again. His body still ached from their last encounter with magical forces.
Dealing with talismans tied to the Demon Sorcerer was already a huge headache that kept him awake at night—he didn't need any extra trouble in the form of metal-clawed rage monsters and shield-wielding super-soldiers.
He was just a poor, helpless archaeologist who wanted a normal life!!
"Heh heh~" Jackie forced a smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"You two keep fighting. Don't mind me." He raised his hands placatingly, backing toward the shop door even as his mind screamed in panic.
"Bad luck, bad luck, BAD LUCK!!" His internal mantra pulsed with each heartbeat.
He was just about to sneak away like he'd never been there, rehearsing how he'd explain the destruction to Uncle, when—
Captain America and Wolverine suddenly turned toward him, their battle forgotten in an instant.
